I wish I could’ve sent you recommendations to go visit but didn’t want to be rude since you were on vacation before you went back❤️ maybe next time. also I love your content as always and Happy Late International Women’s Day to our beautiful dermatologist!🔥❤️

You have the perfect demeanor for pediatric dermatology. Derm concerns for kids can be really scary so having such a warm and kind person as their doctor goes such a long way!

I had Moh’s Surgery and I cannot say enough how amazing my dermatologist was. He did so well on my face and you can hardly tell at all my scar is so tiny. The appreciation I have for dermatologists is so much! Thank you for all you all do!

AWWW this video was so sweet!!!!! Thank you for sharing these moments with us and for sharing updates with your medical journey!!!! It can be so hard sometimes knowing what's meant for us and what we should be doing, but I really think it is best to pray for guidance and listen to your heart!!! I personally think pediatrics would be so sweet for you given your personality, but again with your personality, you'd be fine with any patient!! So I think it would come down to where you think you would be able to help people the most, and what you would enjoy the most, feeling satisfied with the future version of yourself in that specific field! I'm soooo grateful and so glad that you are in the right general field of dermatology too!!!!! Also! I love when you do sit down portions of your videos where you just talk with us, it's so sweet!!!! 💗💗💗💗💗💗

The AirBnB is fantastic! Also, you should just do and decide what your heart desires, and I know that wherever you go, you'll always be special and unique, serving as an inspiration and light to every human being you meet! But I see you as a cosmetic dermatologist, though pediatric dermatology is also a good fit for you!

Peds derm assistant here. I worked in general derm before moving to peds, and I still float to gen derm when needed. Peds is incredibly rewarding, but also much more taxing than gen derm. Depending on the facility you work at and how they allocate resources, your schedule will look the same as every other dermatologist. The problem is, peds appointments inherently take longer. It’s not feasible to have 10 minute appointments, but that’s what you’re expected to do. Every child needs height and weight, every parent has photos to show, and scheduling their follow up takes a gajillion years because you’re working between school AND work calendars. Injection trainings take like 30 minutes even though they’re put in the schedule as a nurse visit. Not to mention parents worry and need a lot more discussion in the appointments. Most your patients will be Medicaid, and there’s barely any biopsies/freezing/etc, so your pay will be equivalent to that of a school teacher. All that said, peds is still the best. Watching a complex facial hematoma shrink month by month, and seeing the relief on the parents’ face when they realize the treatment is working. Starting the 10-year-old with horrible psoriasis on a biologic, and following up a month later to see that her flares have essentially melted away. Looking through prom photos of the teenager finishing up her course of accutane. Finally seeing a full head of fuzz on a patient that has been battling alopecia for years. Everyone has different goals for their career, and I absolutely respect that. If you go into peds, anticipate that your job will be difficult and stressful, at at times, gut wrenching. But there is also so much joy and fulfillment in it.

I don't think cosmetics would work for her because she's a DO, most people prefer MDs. It's the same reason why she doesn't use her credentials & instead uses the prefix "Dr."

you could also not do fellowship until later on down the line once you've done more cases and are sure about what you want to do! I could see you doing cosmetic dermatology!

Jesus died for you was buried and rose again on the third day according to the scriptures. If you confess with your mouth Jesus is lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead you will be saved. Please repent of your sins and accept Jesus Christ as your lord and savior’
