@@angeliqueskye7127 absolutely agree. Dont leave a new born crying. BUT STEP AWAY IF YOU ARE ABOUT TO LOSE IT. It is hard and frustrated because you don't know what to do. It's hard to see a baby in distress. OH MAN! I did everything, swaddling her, singing. I had to babywear her for 4+ months. And now she is a 14 month old sometimes I need to do it.

@@CC-si3cr Most moms can't let their babies cry. It's called motherly instinct or just being a responsible mom. I never let my child cry, because I know she needs me. And even though she's already 6 years old, I still don't let her cry, unless I knów they're crocodile tears (which a baby can't have until 6 months old).

I wouldnt say safest. Your baby can choke on your pillow, sheets or your own body. they cant turn so their little body can be stuck and they suffocate. Cosleeping when theyr 1year old plus, ok, but newborns? Theyre so small.and helpless....leave them in a crib or a bassinet next to your bed without any covers or plushies, just swaddled or in a sleepsack, and always on their back.

@@charlietheunicorn4043 I've actually used it with my son. It's perfectly safe, and yes it definitely works for gassiness. I've had other moms tell me personally that it helped when their babies were colicy.

yes, and colic is often something upsetting the babies tummy that the mom is eating. so going through elimination diet is good-- start by cutting out dairy and see, then cut out gluten for a week and see, etc etc.

my sister used a breast pump to pump the milk, so when she went to a party, she could have a few drinks and not worry about the alcohol since shes pumped enough for a few days supply.

@@MiVidaBellisima yeah just don't drink simple then no trace amount even after pumping. Lots of mum's pump and dump alcohol but trace amounts can still be in the milk.

I had colic when I was a baby due to being unable to digest milk. I’m 18 and I get very upset when I see someone eating soft serve at Ikea because I LOVE ice cream, but it causes me severe pain and I basically become an oatmeal dispenser (yeah) when I eat it.
