Pedicure 101: Ultimate Guide to Pedicures

I love providing pedicures. They are such an easy way to get clientele and make good $$$. One thing I will say, though, for anyone who is interested in dipping their toe lol into doing them...DO NOT call, advertise or let a client consider your pedicure "basic". That word has such a negative connotation these days (ex. it's actually an insult to call a person "basic") and it just sounds "cheap" and pedestrian You want to describe your services in a way that makes someone want to try them...use words like "classic" or "ideal" instead. And, here's another important detail: the names you give your services also sets the standards for pricing them. You can definitely get more money for a service that sounds luxe than for one that sounds...basic. Just remember to put in the work and the clients will come.

I love a basic pedicure the most. They're more relaxing than the other pedicures where folks rush getting you out the door. Plus, you get to enjoy the products, especially if you never tried them before.

I LOVE doing pedicures. I am a licensed manicurist and esthetician, so I can provide a wide array of services, but pedicures are probably the service I've provided most. Pedicures are pure relaxation, for me and clients. Super easy and always enjoyable.

I was fully prepared to HATE pedicures but honestly they're easy, relaxing, the client usually wont stick their toes 2 inches from their face to inspect, and they're happy because they're relaxed. And since Im not Tracey speedy my full sets take 2-3 hours and I make the same as I do with a pedicure, so they're definitely my money maker.

We are not a “medical” nail company. We would recommend researching medical nail services through podiatrists etc for more information on that topic. However, you can definitely use our pedicure products as a waterless system by using warm/wet towels to clean the feet prior to the service and then use the hand sanitizer to sanitize the feet. After that, you can also use the warm towels to remove the products (scrub mask) after application.

Your pedi set up your hubby made sounds amazing. I just have a covered lazy boy on a 6 inch platform. It's what I can afford. I'm glad you like the mask and steam towels trick. I do those. I wish I could fix my severe c-curve toenails...plus when I cut my toenails it almost removes them completely because the are so small. Also wish I could find a way to have a nail where my big toenails were permanently removed.
