Man, fuck the "if I ever get a chance", do yourself a huge favor and create the opportunity to go to this camp. I was at this one, and everything you see, the training, the sweat, the laughs, the love, the shit is real. Whether you started last week or last decade, just go. I think he said there were almost seventy people at this one, and I doubt five minutes went by the entire time that one of the team guys wasn't standing beside my partner and I walking us through what we were supposed to be doing. They rolled with everybody and, regardless of that person's skill level, pushed them hard enough to make it challenging without making it awful (unless that person was looking for awful, in which case they got plenty!). I can't say enough good things about these guys, but I'm gonna stop (so hopefully anyone will actually read this), but GO TRAIN WITH THESE GUYS!!!! It will entirely change the way you look at your training, and since you probably plan on devoting a lot of time to doing that then figuring out how to optimize that time will pay big dividends.

I like that Heath greets everyone the same way. I just left a gym where the coach wouldn't greet you or talk to you unless you are a blue belt. Didn't start out like that but as we got more people he just decided that anyone under blue belt wasn't worth his time anymore. Heath treats everyone with respect and doesn't give a shit about affiliations and shit. very refreshing to know there are coaches out

Hey the guy at 27:07 with SHORT/SPEEDO is John Buck(if I got his name correct) who happens to be BOTH a jujutsu fighter AND CATCH WRESTLER. Yes the sport that gave rise to pro wrestling and FREESTYLE/FOLKSTYLE WRESTLING. It is just that they removed most of the submissions in freestyle and folkstyle wrestlings to please the olympic and make it more accessible to everyone including kids. With the exceptions of the crossface, banana split, figure four headlock , and etc. But they mostly removed the submissions from catch to create freestyle wrestling.
