Makes me wonder when and where in the crazy world it is (obviously it's here in the US, and it's recent), and/or whether he's autistic or mentally/intellectually disabled- not to make any excuses for him (there simply is NO excuse for sexualizing and abusing children), but it's just shocking to see how seemingly completely unaware he is that he can't just leave the station after a stern talking-to and a smack on the wrist, the idea that he could even go back to "helping" his wife run the daycare, let alone still interact with these same little girls who he just admitted to victimizing!! Claiming he'd HAVE to "touch them", pick them up, but he'd have to try and control his urges... i guess. He was really under the illusion that he could just get back to his life and act as if nothing ever happened!!! After forever changing the lives of these girls and their families. I also noticed, while the detectives did a fine job being gentle and helping him to open up, it wasn't really much work because while this man knows what he did was wrong, he's utterly incapable of lying! There needs to be a rule or law made, where at all daycares they have to have non stop CCTV footage at all times, in all rooms. No blind spots etc. And if the child needs to help in the bathroom, two people should accompany the child, that way if one does something, the other is a witness to it.
@karleneliranzo1819 Жыл бұрын
I worked at art camp for a week and we had explicit rules to protect children. We were not allowed to pick any children up or have them on our laps. We were not allowed to hold hands for extended times with children if they began to get very clingy. If the children needed to go to the bathroom they needed atleast one other same sex buddy and we were only to enter the bathroom first to make sure no adults were in there and then the children were taught not to enter the bathroom until we exited and waited outside for them. There is no excuse for why other daycares cannot follow these rules to protect kids.

That's an interesting idea when mothers are the most likely abuser for a child. Teachers have also taken up the role as most likely profession to abuse children, leaving the church in the absolute dust.
