The way Pedro talks, he just pulls you in and enchants you. The way he talks makes you see how intelligent he is. I love this interview so much.

My sister actually met him while he was filming narcos in Bogotá, she had no idea who the guy was but he went to the starbucks she worked at. She said he was always so nice to his fans and had the cutest smile ever

I 've never met him but I believe you. He seems humble and down to earth. Success as an actor didn't come easy for him.

Pedro strikes me as someone who is down to earth and would be a pleasant and fun person to sit down and have a chat with. He’s doing a great job on the Mandalorian and I just got done watching Narcos. Wow there was a lot more to that than I realized. Very good job loved it!

I’m still in the beginning of S3. He is amazing. I feel so bad for his character. He looks so sad and defeated. I’m sure it will change, but right now, I’m heartbroken for his character. He’s so effin’ believable. I love his face with the mustache and the scraggly beard, or without all of it. He looks like another person with the mustache.

How did I miss this interview 3 years ago? I scrounge for interviews from this actor. I think Narcos and GoT were made better because if this actor's talent. He's obviously intelligent, as he is able to portray many levels of the character he inhabits. As a playwright, I am mad about that. As a screenwriter, I like his speaking voice & facial expression. Took me 3 years to find this interview. Ah. Good job.

What an incredible interview! Pedro had such intelligent and thoughtful responses, this was such a treat to watch. And THANK YOU for asking your question and then giving Pedro the space to fully answer! So many times people interject or interrupt, but you sat back and let him say what he wanted. Silence is not something to be afraid of and Pedro clearly spoke more because he was given the space and time to do so. You’re an incredible interviewer! I’m a history student who studies oral histories and this interview clearly demonstrates the skills of a proper interviewer. You asked clear questions that allowed him to do what he does best: tell a story. This is the best interview for Pedro that I’ve seen and you have so much to do with that! Narcos is one of his most interesting projects and it was incredible to get such an intimate and honest conversation with him on it. I wish more interviews were like this. I’m so happy I found this 🥰

Bowled over by my introduction to Pedro Pascal in Game of Thrones, I think we all were left wanting more. Narcos gives the opportunity to showcase his talent. Pena is such a relatable character & Pascal brings him to life.

I love that story about going to Quantico to see how DEA agents are trained. I’ve heard him tell it in several interviews and it’s always so funny.

I listened to this skillful interview in the past and am revisiting it. Your quiet style and no hype approach is a lesson for all interviewers of creative people exhausted by sound bytes. It would be interesting if you interview this artist again so many years later.

Good interview! I knew of Pedro’s existence since GoT and just like everyone else I fell in love with him. Then when Narcos came on Netflix, a friend strongly recommend me to watch it so when I finally decided to give it a try, I was instantly hooked on the series. Pedro and the rest of the cast did an amazing job. I talked to everyone about it and how awesome it was, but many seem uninterested, I live in the USA so I guess Narcos wasn’t as popular as in Latin America/hispanic countries and some countries in Asia like India. So it’s sad and a little disappointing that many in the USA don’t know much of Pedro’s talent in the other previous roles and suddenly they recognized him from GoT and now rediscovered him in the Mandalorian.

Great interview very insightful. season 2,very scary story....fasinating too..and still has humour... I had no idea of the reality ..the history,! (And tge intensive training the actors went through).

It’s too bad they didn’t get Pedro to narrate the whole thing. He would have done so much justice to the name pronunciation of the places and the people. Guess they had to make it more appealing for Americans to watch.

Agree, it felt weird that the whole show started with a white American’s POV vs Javier’s more nuanced perspective

I always felt like with Pena the human interest story was missing to really relate to him. With the other guy Murphy you had the wife and then the kid, and he was the one who was there when Escobar was caught. So Murphey just made more sense to narrate season 1 & 2. But I agree, if they had added some more human interest, his friendship with the othe Dea agents or one of his flirts or whoever that would have made him feel more rounded in season 3.
