I know lots of people have their doubts about Pedro as Reed, but listen. Just from this video alone we can see the dynamic these two will have as Sue and Reed. Sue, calm, collected, and talking about how this is a group and “family” effort. Reed, kind of stumbling over words and talks about big concepts of impact, and when looking at Sue is absolutely amazed. I know he can do it.

From the footage I think he’s nailed Reed or at least my favorite characterization of Reed. He’s a genius and can throw himself a bit to much into his work and forget that not everybody is at his level but he never really lets that intelligence get to his head and once someone reminds him he’s able to course correct. Him explaining the existence of parallel worlds to those kids and then instantly realizing they are bored and gets them hyped doing something they think is cool “who wants to see an explosion” I can imagine him doing that with Franklin in the comics

People like to talk about a lot of things about getting a fantastic Four movie, right but the biggest thing that makes the movie feel like the characters is the family dynamic the the earlier films never captured that the 2000s movie felt like a bunch of college kids that were forced together. They don’t feel like a family and the 2015 film. I really don’t have to see anything just watch clips on KZbin.💀 but this cast feels very comfortable with each other and I could see the chemistry with these interviews. I have high hopes.
