This version of Vogue is inspired by the choreography of Jack Cole. The East Asian cultural dance with intricate hand gestures and isolating a particular part of the body. It is a beautiful acknowledgment of history of movement, culture, and art. All are connected.

Stupendous, and superb, this has to be the most fabulous live vogue intro by madonna, it spins in my head all the time. It was simular to like a virgin, from 1990. The Girlie Show never received the recognition/acclaim it deserved, I think we all expected blond ambition 2, but this was different, and the production /theme reflected that. It was fabulous, I had a great day,and the memories are still so fresh. 😊❤️. Thank you Madonna. Xxx. Not forgetting,. Nikki Harris, & Donna de Lory. Who were integral support. 💕. It was sensational, madonna's voice /vocals were so clear, and you could hear every instrument. I did cry when she sang, (In This Life). But /and it gave me strength. Thank You. Madonna. She knew what she was talking about. Derek x. To work and to be next to one of the greatest cultural icons of the twentieth century is a once in a generation experience.

I recall on a tour, that at times i was focusing on nikki, and Donna,to witness the musical chemistry they have had for a long time. Absolutely wonderful. That they sang, and danced, was of the scale, and never missed a note. (🎶).

She brought it to the mainstream. It's inspired by a dance performed in New York clubs, on the underground gay scene. See the film "Paris Is Burning" it came out in 1990 but the documentary was filmed from the mid to late 80's. You can even see Jose one of Madonna's dancers in the Vogue video and BA tour is in it. Madonna released the song Vogue about 1 year before the film came out.

it's weird on the actual DVD of this the first 2 words of the first verse "look around" were sang live but then she went into the lipsyncing on here not even that part is live, I heard for this tour she sang it live on all the other performances except this one because the head piece on her head was too heavy but who knows how much truth there is to that, I loooove this toooooour! =D
