DIY 3+1+1 Seater Outdoor Sofa **Free SketchUp Plan + Cut List**

Wood You Do It
In this video, I'll show you how I made this 3+1+1 seater outdoor sofas for my porch. To make this project I used three different lumber sizes (pine)
9 - 70mmx30mmx2600mm
8 - 140mmx30mmx2600mm
5 - 100mmx50mmx2600mm
After all the cuts and all the components prepared and drilled, I assembled the structures with dowels, glue, and screws.
Then I applied 3 layers of exterior varnish to protect it from the elements.
Finally, I put the cushions made to order and is ready.

I love this idea. If you could make the cushions higher like a Bondi cloud sofa it would be a good indoor sofa. I bought a patio sofa from Wayfair to use as my indoor, living room sofa. It looks really high end, and it's very sturdy with sunbrella fabric cushions. The upholstery on normal sofas these days is so flimsy, I suspect it's planned obsolescence. Thank God for patio sofas.

It's just pieces of metal tube with the same drill diameter. Maybe 1mm higher. I get it in a metal shop.

One thing I would add, is 2 velcro strips for each cushion. Bottom side with staples to the frame and top side sawed into the fabric. No more moving cushions, when you sink into the chair / sofa.

I really like this. I have 1 small request/recommendation: Please hold up the can of stain or finish you use to the camera at some point in videos like this.
