We've done a bunch of Nintendo and video game related Lego sets on this channel, but now they've released the very first Legend of Zelda Lego: The Legend of Zelda | LEGO Great Deku Tree 2-in-1 set! It comes with the Ocarina of Time Nintendo 64 (N64) Great Deku Tree as well as the Zelda Breath of the Wild (BotW) Great Deku Tree from the Zelda Nintendo Switch game. We have done a bootleg Legend of Zelda BotW lego set before, but that was a bootleg lego - this is the real thing! Building both sets / versions in this video!

This is my first Lego set and decided I wanted to make BOTW version so I skipped over Link’s house thinking it belonged to OOT. After I was done I decided to go back and do Link’s house and found the brick separator and, yeah…that would have been nice to have sooner 😂

It took me way too long, but I translated 19:10 , it says "Boss is here!" more directly in Japanese it says "ぼすはう さここへ" and it uses the third hylian script wich is the one used in windwaker!

This set is so damn COOL! I've only played BoTW so far, so I absolutely love how the Deku tree looks from that. This video made me really look forward to playing OOT, though! One of my favorite details when I built it is that it shows young link holding the sword in his left hand (because he’s left handed in ocarina of time of course) but then in botw it shows link holding the sword in his right hand since they changed it.

He opened with a building mistake! The very first thing he did was miss a piece for the child link minifigure, his green tunic/skirt piece. He then put the mouth on the outside of the oot version tree (at least that got taken apart), it’s supposed to be able to fully close. Lego has really quality instructions, but you have to be fully engaged to read any instructions properly. I’m sure it’s hard to film a video and build
