So, obviously, the "lore" of saving is that Leon is recording what he's done so far/what has happened for whoever passes by to understand what has happened, and know how to proceed (in case he were to die). But since Mark seems to have a habit of instantly going to the Typewriter to save, then goes to his box to store some stuff, and then goes back to Typewriter to save again, I'm amused by the thought that Leon types up what happened so far, puts away some stuff, and then goes back onto the typewriter to say "And then I put some stuff into my box."

I am absolutely hollerng at the fact that no matter HOW MANY times the game shows that trying to knife a mobile zombie is a bad idea, Markiplier just straight up keeps dong it over and over, slowly whittling down the oh-so important knives for the first boss-fight. That and the fact that he kept running out of space but absolutely REFUSED to discard the items he doesn't even need. Lastly, his foreknowledge from playing the demo clashing with the sequence of events during the actual game is hilarious everytime, watching him run by the locker terminal he was looking for is just amazing.

Its because of the Adaptive difficulty, if you play too good, the enemies will take more Headshots and such, but it you get bitten more and miss more shots, the game will be easier until you get good and then the game adjusts itself to be harder.

@Adiv Dholakia and as for the zombie bite thing that is the case in this however 10% of the population is extremely resistant to the t-virus not immune just really resistant and Leon is part of that 10 percent plus while a zombie bite can infect someone and turn them into one there's actually a pretty low chance of that for the t-virus, zombie bites have always had low infection rates in Resident Evil because there's so many other ways it can be spread

@Adiv Dholakia yeah Leon and everyone else you play as in Resident Evil because that's one of the reasons why they're the main character because they're at the site of whatever hell umbrella has created in the particular Game you're playing and because they're part of the 10% that are resistant to whatever virus umbrella creates the fact that Leon was a cop was just to give him the slightest chance of not getting torn to pieces but not make it too easy for him (hence the reason they made him a rookie cop and not one used to his job) or at least that's my personal belief I'm sure someone who knows more about Resident Evil will come around and correct me

fun fact: Leon, and a few of the other people you play as in the games, are part of the 10% of the population, that have a natural Resistance or immunity to the t-virus that all of umbrellas bioweapons are at least partially based on, it's why they're the main characters, they can still get infected, but it's a lot harder, Jill is part of the 10% too, The only reason she got infected by Nemesis in re3, is he had a enhanced strain of the virus specially designed for a situation where he can't kill his target and needs to infect them instead, aka like Jill, and yes the herbs also weaken the effects of the infection a little bit while also promoting faster healing, I don't know for sure but I'm assuming the reason the herbs do that, is because they were tested on by umbrella, giving them certain abilities.

@@Firdafly fun fact: Leon, and a few of the other people you play as in the games, are part of the 10% of the population, that have a natural Resistance or immunity to the t-virus that all of umbrellas bioweapons are at least partially based on, it's why they're the main characters, they can still get infected, but it's a lot harder, Jill is part of the 10% too, The only reason she got infected by Nemesis in re3, is he had a enhanced strain of the virus specially designed for a situation where he can't kill his target and needs to infect them instead, aka like Jill, and yes the herbs also weaken the effects of the infection a little bit while also promoting faster healing, I don't know for sure but I'm assuming the reason the herbs do that, is because they were tested on by umbrella, giving them certain abilities.

@@Firdafly not all are immune some are just resistant, I think Leon is immune and Jill is just resistant, that's why in resident evil 6 when Leon inhales too much of the blue virus gas, he just dies instead of turning, because it can't turn him, so it just shuts down all his organs or whatever in what looks like a very painful fashion

This game is so detail oriented! Mark had 4 bullets left, and during the cutscene at the beginning, Leon fired a round into a zombie. No biggie, right? Well, when he arrived a the police station, he had 3 rounds, because he killed the zombie in the cutscene. I’ve never seen another game do that, it either keeps the rounds I had, or fully refills my ammo.

You are awesome Markiplier, every year around the anniversary of this, I come back and rewatch these. The reason is because 3 weeks prior to you releasing these, I was in the hospital recovering from a near fatal blood clot to my lung. I was afraid and depressed and anxiety through the roof, constantly was on my mind, but these took my mind off of it and gave me something to laugh about and every year I come back here and rewatch these because they are a reminder of when I started making a turn to get back up again after being knocked down and you helped with that. I think I find it especially sad that Marvin realizes that the virus has already spread through his body, that he's already turning by this point in the story. And that he let's Leon know that it's too late and that he tried both outside and in to stop this virus from spreading but he failed. Excellent job on the mocap team and all the actors involved. This hit me hard the first time I saw it.
