I’m Mexican and 18 started boxing at 17 and I have been doing the peekaboo style since the beginning of the year I felt stuck as if I wasn’t improving I watched countless videos of the peekaboo style stance and footwork but they all say don’t do this and do this and I get confused but I found your videos and I improved thank you Carter im gonna keep practicing the drills you posted on your channel everyday thank you once again💯🙂

Advice for sparring, when I’m throwing punches in this style it feels awkward since I’m only doing the very basics I catch myself throwing my jab without stepping and other small mistakes also in a match I’m not slipping after every punch or it would be predictable so how would I work in that so it can feel more natural

In the original tutorial I posted George came on and explained his type of stance. I’ll be posting videos with George in the future but in the meantime, this video has much more detail in it than the old one so it will be replacing that old vid 🥊

I feel like you’ve already went over the peekaboo stance….a couple times…why we repeating it? That’s my first question, 2nd is how come we can’t get in contact with that gym via the phone? Is the nobody answers the phone at that gym? You keep saying “make sure you have a coach or mentor there to make sure you’re doing it right and critique you…” but how is that if we can’t get in contact with any?

@@R.E.I.Rich88 There was one tutorial on the stance that needed to be replaced by this vid. The gym is open from 5:30-7:30 on most weekdays. There’s no structure at the gym currently in terms of sessions or classes, I just work with my fighters. I’m looking to revamp the gym’s structure in the coming months so that contact is easier.

@@R.E.I.Rich88 Yep. We all have full time jobs. I train my guys slow and steady. I am going to change all of that soon though, the plan is to coach full time and revamp the gym 🥊
