I love you channel. I follow your every advice carefully. One question you had a very rare vlip video of Mike Tyson doing neck bridges warm up etc but it doesn't come out anymore. Did you delete it by any chance?

Hi thanks for the video but I wanna ask if it would be cool to learn more about the technique. I know you’re probably going to go over it anyway but I’d be cool to get in depth videos about things like weaving,knee bends and such. Especially learning the forms thx

can you do some more intermediate footwork and head movement drills?
@davanpaguiАй бұрын
Hey Carter, I have watched all of your videos times over and I can say you really got the style down to a science. I was wondering if you could also talk about the weaknesses of the style and how to prevent making them. The style is obviously awesome for many reasons but it seems Buster Douglas, Holyfield and Lennox Lewis figured out its weaknesses. I noticed that Tyson had a lot of problems with boxers that could fight well moving backwards like Douglas, I just would like to hear your opinion on it
@peekabooboxingacademyАй бұрын
@@davanpagui Great idea. I think their success was mostly found in the fact that Mike had lost those original qualities that he spent so long developing in Catskill. He was a square target that just stood in front of them and tried firing off one or two large shots at a time. Cus designed his style to be perfect. As obnoxious as that sounds. But people make mistakes. That’s where the trouble in practicing it is. It’s very hard to master, but yields incredible results when you do master it.

Been loving your channel mate, such a great breakdown of the peekaboo. I'll definitely need to come down to NJ if I have the chance and come to your gym 💪 2 questions, with the weeve how far down do you go with the weeve, I've been doing it with a slip rope where it's shoulder height but I've been told I weeve to high and have you got the list of moves what the guys were taught when starting out would love to start doing them. I've got started doing the twist then step to the side body and head. What other things are included would be appreciated

What advice do you have for someone who’s been boxing and wants to switch to peakaboo style Ive been boxing for almost a year and started doing the moves for about two weeks I sparred the other day and it’s hard to get rid of the way I move is it just repetition do I need to start from square one what would be your insight on that
@peekabooboxingacademyАй бұрын
@@halob11 There is no starting from square one because you’ve already practiced another style. But yes. The answer is repetition and putting a conscious effort on changing 🥊

When you do the side step and 3:20, does the leg that goes to the position you want goes first or the back leg springs the lead leg and body to move to the side of our target?
