She is doing youtube professionally, so obviously she would be earning money from it. Whats the point of checking her earning? You would be watching only a video, but there is a-lot of hard work behind it. You should have guts to record yourself in-front of number of people, and they are uploading video with excellent editing skills, that takes efforts and time.

There’s a few things wrong in this video. You say every immigrant has parents back home that have a house that will eventually become their inheritance, so you basically got your “inheritance in advance.” Firstly, this is not true, or everyone has parents who own their own home back in India. And secondly, even if they did own their own home, not everyone parents are well off enough to give them money before this home is passed down to them after they die. I’m also not understanding how you can say that you didn’t get any money from your parents, but they helped you with the biggest expense in your life: the downpayment. Even if they covered half of your downpayment, that’s close to $2000 per month over 2 years. So basically it would be the same thing as them sending you the money for the last 2 years for you to use or save.
@sonu28able2 жыл бұрын
That's a good point here but I am confused with one thing.If I am not wrong in one of the videos she said that when they went to India they squared off a property which she had bought with Saransh.Reason was that they moved to Canada.If Pooja had to take money from her parents,then where did the money go after the property sale.
@AmanBhimani2 жыл бұрын
@@sonu28able I’m not sure? I don’t know if that matters. She said in this current video that they took money from their parents, which is what I was commenting on. Also a property in Oakville may be very close to $1 M, which means downpayment is at least $100k. Maybe they did both.

Them saying they’re a normal couple like everyone else is not correct. Mommy & daddy helping with down payment is a privilege and they need to understand that. But by no means I will say they’re rich. Although, there living expenses and lifestyle is higher than other actual “normal couples”. I am not hating on them. My husband’s parents will be helping us with the down payment. But my parents cannot afford to help my brother in a similar way. So it’s definitely a privilege that needs to be acknowledged.
@sivya20092 жыл бұрын
The reason why people say that you guys are rich because generally all new immigrants who move here cant afford to buy a house in toronto. You guys were financially well settle in india which helped you here. Majority of the indian are middle class and below middle class. They live in one or 2 bedroom flat or rent most of the times. Majority of canadians average family income is 50,000 to 60,000 only. They don't have expenses of $5000- $7000 in a month. Majority canadians their income is not even $5000 ! Majoritty of canadians are living on minimum wage. Theh dont have their own house or condo or aparatment or a car. You guys definitely falls under upper middle class category in canada and upper class in India . This is why most people are calling you rich. May be definition of being rich is different in your head. You guys are millionaire !! Most of the people take loan to move to canada or sell everything or use all their savings to come to canada. Plus when they move here they have send money back home to help their parents financially and pay off loans from India. Not everyone india has bigger houses like you guys have in india with full time maids and driver. Your parents have to be financially well off if they have send you money for your down payment. Plus after putting so much into the house you guys could spend on high end applicances plus bought a car and one person can quit from a their steady income. You both had a house in india as well that you guys sold it. At your age not everyone has house in India. This is why people call you rich. Must research majority canadian family income is how much? Then you guys will know that you are hard working is paying off and you guys upper middle class in canada. Do you know most of the people can even afford to get a sick leave from their work and taking vacation and going on vacation not everyone can afford. Majority immigrants struggle for 5 to 7 years after moving to canada. Some people have to do 2 jobs. You guys are definately well off and I am happy For you guys and its your good luck. But I wont call you guys rich in canada ? Rich in canada means some other level.

On being rich (monetarily): Rich is a relative term. I feel very happy for both of you and that you and your families are well to do. There is absolutely nothing wrong in parents helping their kids either. I'm sure they have worked hard to earn it all. I think a lot of socio-cultural elements contribute to people having darker emotions like envy and resentment towards rich folks. I hope everyone works hard, provides good value to the society and become rich (and content) enough over time.

@@utkarsh2568 I never mentioned these people are not hustling or are not career oriented. The career orientation which maximum people have is to have a blue collared job. However for them its ok to leave a job and focus only on youtube channel which others might never take a risk as they know their only source of income is from the job which they do as they do not have any backup system.Hustle here to make a youtube video might be different than hustle what other people do in their particular job. I said its totally fine the way they lead their life and enjoy. Everyone doesn't have a godfather in their life and if one has a support system in life, it gets a bit easier to lead a comfortable life. Isn't it good that they are able to enjoy their life without tension which most of the people have in their life!

@@utkarsh2568 I can see where you are coming for but don’t underestimate the power of family money for which you don’t have to work. That kind of money buys you freedom and security. A middle class immigrant who comes to us/Canada works hard and save every penny to improve their lifestyle and support their family. Once they are doing well they start saving for their kids education and future. But when you have millions being handed over by someone else or know that there is millions at your disposal you have the freedom to not think of future or consequence. For me that’s the real value of money. The ability to buy freedom.

It’s not surprising but very annoying that these rich kids who have been handed over everything by their parents and never actually had to face the “real” world think that every immigrant has a house in their country which they can just sell. Stop trying to crib about your fake struggles when daddy mommy are taking care of real problems. No not all immigrants gets down payments from their family or sell their family house because most don’t even have one. They struggles years and years to save up and they do so by not buying tim hortons or going to restaurants or ordering food every single time. Stop trying to make us believe that you are living a real immigrant live. You are not. You are lucky and blessed to have a rich family who are supporting you. The sooner you actually accept it the sooner you will stop sounding delusional. Most importantly keeping all the help from family aside their money buys you a safety net whose value you will never understand because you have never been out of it. That safety net allows you to sporadically quit your job at a whim and then make KZbin videos and not to think how you will pay mortgage or afford food.

Yes! I was looking for a comment like this. Not everyone’s parents have a house back home.
