Suggestion - Hun, always check hourly weather forecast before leaving so that you can always be prepared in advance. I've seen your struggles with this constant changing weather a lot of times in your videos. So, by checking hourly weather, you'll know if you need to carry Jacker /umbrella in advance or the kinda dress up you need (like waterproof shoes or no heels shoes)

Pooja it's very easy to make paneer...it will take very little time. Boil 1ltr milk and squeeze one lime in it....strain it in a muslin cloth and run it through cold water to remove the bitterness of the lime juice or vinegar. . what ever you have out in the milk..then put a heavy object on the muslin cloth for few hours. After that your paneer block will be ready in no time. .you can do it as a weekly activity on Sunday's 😊

Try one pot meals like khichdi for one meal atleast. It's not difficult bor time consuming. Mix a variety of Dal's,rice and or healthy millets like foxtail n keep in a jar and just measure a bowl n throw it in the pot with salt n turmeric and some cut veggies of your choice i.e peas, spinach,beans, cauliflower or broccoli. Healthy fresh n easy to cook. The way you are eating is not healthy and will lead to obesity in a few years time and you won't even realise it. It happened to me so trust me don't go for complicated fancy cooking. One meal everyday could be Indian simple one pot meal.

You can check if you get Haldirams paneer. It is closest to the paneer you get at shops in India. If you make paneer from the regular store-bought homogenized milk your paneer will melt when heated, so try raw milk to make paneer. This is my experience in US. I don't know if Haldirams paneer is available in Toronto.

in most of your videos you guys tell that you struggle with your cooking. So I want to suggest you something... Search for 'Quick dinner recipes', 'one pot healthy recipes', 'Quick recipes for biginers' over youtube. Then pick 4-5 recipes as per your choice and note down the ingredients required. Shop groceries accordingly... within a couple of weeks you will, 1. Learn new recipes 2. Save time and money 3. Be confident on your cooking skills Happy living...!!

Guys, you should get an umbrella ! You both are shopping every other vlog, just pick two up... Worth it. It’s rainy season now guys 👍 Also, in Loblaws, instead of getting tortilla wraps as a substitute for Roti, you can actually get a pack of 5 rotis or 5 pack of whole-wheat naans Lastly, you guys must be minted if you can buy a notepad for $35.... Good on you guys. I got a similar book from dollar store for $4.... Thats the best I could do 😞

Just wondering if $100 per week is per person or total? If your doing $100 for 2 people per week that’s only $200 a month pp, which is amazingly cheap for Toronto! If it’s $400 pp then that’s more average. Considering you’re downtown and shopping some organic $400 actually isn’t bad at all.

You can include legumes and lentils in your meal prep. It's a time saving and healthy option. 😃 A tip for any paneer you use - keep paneer soaked in hot water for 30 minutes before using it. It becomes soft. You won't feel, it's heavy. Yeah, even I'm a big fan of Flamin' Hot Cheetos, just like you. 🙂 Wheat Thins and Triscuits are good snacking option. Have it with some dip or hummus. They taste too good. 🙂 Do share your avocado toast recipe. 😀

Saransh is right. This is all such a waste. “You don’t have a list with you” so you bought the planners. Ever heard of a thing called phone? You can make notes in it for grocery runs :) It comes in very handy. And saves paper too btw... and whole wheat breads are a very common thing since years now so don’t know why it needs to be emphasised like 10000 times

Poo.. I guess you should seriously consider buying a car very soon. Winter is coming and it will be quite a task venturing out in harsh Canadian winters.
@JeremyMacDonald19734 жыл бұрын
It is pretty expensive and the utility definitely drops off if you live right downtown. Figure once you include insurance, gas and maintenance it must be about $300 a month even before you factor in the car price itself and a lot of the time you are parking and then walking 7 or 8 minutes to and from your car to where you want to go. In effect you buy a car because you don't want to walk 10 minutes in the snow but half the time you end up walking 10 minutes in the snow to get to and from your car. If you are in the suburbs I think it is a no brainer but it is a lot less clear that it is worth it if you are already in the middle of the down town.
