Great video young man!! I just bought a kioti 3520se shuttle shift little over a month ago i truly love it. I've had a few more competitors tractors in 25to 30 hp one in particular would lift 2200 pounds well the way i use my tractors i couldn't get enough weight on 3 point to lift near as much as my kioti does. The 35 hp is amazing the power it has. Thanks for sharing good luck on your selection

I also own a B series Kubota. This spring, I was in the position to purchase a new tractor and after lots of research, I bought a Kioti 3520. I haven't looked back so far. I love the lifting capacity of this tractor, and I constantly move logs around. I would gladly tell anyone who is looking, try the Kioti before you buy.

I bought a Kioti NS 5310 spring of last year. I run a 60” double lid grapple. That tractor will pick up some major weight. I emailed you a picture once of some big oaks I was cutting down. I was using that tractor to load and move that stuff. The side by side HST pedals can’t be beat in my opinion. Hydrostatic is the only way to go doing a lot of loader work whether it’s bucket or grapple. Running a deep cutting plow is probably the only time I’d prefer a geared tractor which I have but I always use the Kioti. Good luck with whatever you decide. See ya’ on the next one!!!

Have had the CK2620 a week now, but have not had time to work it much except for 2 hours moving a pile of dirt from the end of the 600 ft drive up to the cabin (just finishing building it) yard to level out some low spots, and finding out I need ballast if I am going to use it to its potential. Had 3rd function installed so next spring I can add a grapple to help with cleaning up the many deadfalls along the lower wetter section, but for this winter I will be using the loader for snow removal. Hope to have an inverted snowblower next year for the tons of lake effect snow we get here in Northern MI. Will be my first year not having to manhandle a snowblower an hour or two every day sometimes twice a day, it was becoming torture on my worn out 61 years old hips and knees. Really like it so far.

I'm in (or was) in your exact same position when I bought my second tractor. I have a Kubota BX, and I DO love it. But when I decided that I needed a second, larger tractor, I no longer considered a Kubota, because of their price and lower lift capacity compared to their competitor's models in the same size range. There are a LOT of us in the firewood game that are using Kioti's if you search the YT videos. I went all the way up to an RX series 73HP machine, and don't regret it. I'm not suggesting that you do that, but it was right for me. In all honesty, you'll probably find that other than Deere, none of the competitor's models will have hydraulics that are as smooth as Kubota's are. My tractor really has difficulty doing two separate functions at once with the loader, like lifting and curling etc... But I can live with that when you factor in everything else that you get with the Kioti's and the TYM's etc. Their lift capacities and values alone were enough to convince me that my Kioti was what I needed. Oh, I also don't know if you've noticed or not yet, but not all tractors in the size range that you're looking at will have a three-range transmission. Many of them just have two. That may not seem like a huge deal, but to me, having that 3rd range REALLY comes in handy. Just something that you may want to consider as part of your decision making process.

In 2020 I bought a Kioti DK 4210 and absolutely love it. Don’t get me wrong all the manufacturers have there issues, but I don’t think you can go wrong with a Kioti.

Hey Lucas, I traded my Kubota B2301 in on the Kioti CK 2620 SE cab model. It's been a great tractor, good power and the lifting capacity it awesome. I can lift a 1500lbs pallet of wood pellets to full height. Might look at the 2620 SE model. It comes with 2 rear remotes from the factory, tilt wheel, and arm rests. Just a thought. Cant go wrong with a Kioti, their lifting capacity was what sold me. I initially purchased a CK4010SE which was a great tractor for moving logs and IBC totes of firewood. I have now upgraded to a DK4210SE and man what a difference the larger frame size and width make when nearly maxing out the loader capacity, much more stable. Either way you can't go wrong with a CK or DK, but as others have mentioned consider getting the SE model. The added features are very much worth it, specifically the Linked Pedal, I wont own a tractor without it now. Good Luck with whichever you decide on.

Hi Lucas, hello again from Bloomington, IN! Seeing this video show up in my feed today gave me a smile. For smaller tasks around my 14 acre property, I made the decision to go with a BX 23S largely due to the testimony from your videos. I watched and rewatched you many times prior to making the purchase and, now after 100 hours, have been completely satisfied with my decision-- so thank you :) Well before the 23s, I purchased a brand new gear-driven Kioti CK2610 in 2019 as my first "big" tractor. The Kioti is the brute of the two. It does all the heavy lifting of logs, creek stone loader work plus hauling in addition to bushhogging and driveway maintanance. After 400 hours of use and proper maintenance, the Kioti is as dependendable as the day it was delivered. If I ever feel compelled enough to make a change, I'll probably go with an HST just for speed an ease. Thanks again

Some random suggestions and comments about this tractor (some are standard things): 1) move the turn signals from the ROPs to the fenders before you break them off; 2) get the rubber floor mat (maybe they'll throw it in as part of the deal); 3) that drawbar is great, but it will interfere with a box blade, so remember to remove it prior to use; 4) on box blading, a hydraulic toplink is a worthwhile upgrade; 5) maintenance on this tractor is easy, I usually remove the front loader just to keep my memory sharp for how to do it; 6) check the wheel lug torque regularly (do this with any brand); and 7) always weight the rear when heavy lifting. HST for your use sounds like a wise choice.

I feel as if Kioti and TYM are the options that make the most sense for me too. I like the Kukje engine in the TYM. I wish everyone’s loaders were as good as Kubota and JD being able to curl and lift at the same time. That is what makes it hard for me. @@dannyharvey2980 I know that if you hit just the right spots on the controls it can be done but..... it is still simply not as good as the Kubota. I didn't know this was an issue until I starting shopping a few years ago and hopped onto a Branson and Mahindra. Previously I had only run one Kubota TLBH from the rental yard and all CTL. Of course, all those machine flawlessly run both functions at the same time pretty much not impacting the other. You have a great tractor! I am VERY highly interested in the CK2620 myself.

I’ve had my 2620 for a year now with 158 hours and enjoying my purchase. A neighbor has used it a few times and just went with the same tractor about week ago. We’re in South East Georgia but I sent him the information for Larry Stovesand Equipment in Nashville Tennessee. He saved around $9,000 after purchasing a package deal. That was a far better deal with more options than I got locally. Plus like yourself it pays to do your homework first. Thanks for the detailed sharing in this video.

I have the 2023. 4210 se love it its a work horse the regeneration happens about every 35 hrs, never stops me just work on through it i would not go smaller than that , although you may not need the pto hp today one day you will

I move debris and clear orchards. Feed tub grinder . I purchased a kioti rx7320. It has its issues mainly fuel issues and injector problem . But witu 600 hours on it . Hard use. Still looks pretty clean . I now work for kubota tractors and the orchard clearing on weekends. The comparable m4.071d honestly doesnt lift as much . I dont mind regen systems at all. You honestly need to make sure it runs a regen once a day when you run it over 2 hours.

If you upgrade to the 35hp and get the SE Model, you'll get a lot of standard add-ons that you won't get if you stay with the 26hp. You can add many of those items onto the 26hp individually, but by that time you're not far from the 35hp price. I would like to have looked at the TYM tractors when I was looking, but there were no local dealers near me. That said, I love my CK3520SE

Great choice in considering kioti and the CK is a very unique model. I would suggest the higher HP because you can still tow that tractor with your tundra easily on a 7k-10k trailer. No one ever says I wish I had less HP. I have a bx1880 and a LX2610 at the moment but eventually I will be adding a 35-40hp machine to my work fleet. All in the size to tow with a half ton pickup, but you can run 6’ or larger implements with more HP at the PTO. Just remember today you don’t need the higher horsepower today. Baumalight mulcher MP340 runs in the 30hp PTO range and a PTO chipper upto 9” (woodmaxx wm9900) you can chip upto 9”. I hope this helps good luck let us watch the journey!!!

I have this machine, just the previous generation. Kioti makes that entire machine just as Kubota does, and I believe the fit and finish on the Kioti exceeds that of the TYM. Also, when comparing loader lift capacity, look at the breakout force of this machine vs the 2515. TYM lists their breakout as 3600lbs on the 2515 loader, and this machine is over 3400. So these are very comparable when you are lifting just off the ground, or within a couple of feet. Just food for thought. I love mine, and the joystick location is sweet.

I help a friend who has a 3 year old Kioti. The hydraulic pump died the first hay season. Since then it has been a great tractor. Only issue I see is 3pt lift doesn't lower quick enough when moving round bales on the 3 pt. spear. I imagine there is an adjustment to help this situation.

I have a 3520 hst cab tractor. I love it. Think about a cab. Makes it a year round tractor in comfort. Load back tires, it does wonders. Lift capacity is amazing for its size. Fuel tank is a pain. Just buy an electric pump, save yourself the trouble.

i have the dk 6020. while my grapple isnt as good as some my tractor has power. 57.7 horses. After these hurricanes hit it left trees down everywhere. my tractor is strong enough to deroot the cut tree and then pick up a heavy stump and take to the fema pickup pile. my neighbors 33 horse cant do it. plus it has AC which for me in very nice in hot steamy florida.

Had to lift a true 3"x11"x25' green SYP beam up 10' to land on top of the sawmill shed posts the other day (fabricated with true 1.5"x11"x13' pieces) and the BX just couldn't do it. Used the landpride forks where the forks themselves were flipped upside down to gain elevation, put C-clamps at the end of the forks to hold the beam out far enough to get that height. Was at the little BX's limit...I get where you're coming from with eyeing and upgrade, lol

Kioti tractors are nice. I’ve been eyeing the DK4720se. The thing I don’t like about the CK (vs Kubota L or JD 3R) is it doesn’t have split brakes. I like having that for swinging tight corners with a tiller. I can pivot to the next pass without backing up! Probably not an issue for folks who don’t get into some ag crossover stuff… but dealbreaker for me for working the garden.

So do you go with gear drive or do you use the split brakes on a HST? I was wondering how well you could even use them on a hydrostat. On the older L series the split pedals were on the same side as the treadle pedal.

@@PeeksPeakHobbyHomestead My '81 Ford 1700 is gear drive, but the same frame size as this and similar power (23hp PTO). It's a little small and doesn't have enough lift for some of what I do though... The old Kubota L01 series had the brake on the same side as hydro pedal, but they've moved it to the left for the L02 series and the grand L. Finally catching up to JD in that regard. To my knowledge, the TYM 2515 is single brake pedal as well. The Kioti DKse has the split brake on the left like the new Kubotas and JD. Personally, I would use split brakes with a hydro the same way I do with gear drive. You can save time by not backing up at an end-of-row pivot, steer the tractor with the brakes if your front end gets light, and its another tool in the arsenal for getting unstuck. I lock the brakes together and engage 4wd for working on hills for safety - to guarantee I'm pushing both brakes evenly. Going downhill if you only brake one side it could swing the tractor around sideways to the hill and cause a rollover! Engaging 4wd gets the brakes to stop the front wheels in addition to the rear via the driveline, giving more stopping traction. As an aside, I love the way gear drive pulls, but I'm partial to 12+ speeds rather than 8 (which is more common). My tractor weighs around 4000lb with loader, loaded tires and rear wheel weights, and it runs out of traction before its out of power. Pretty good for a "25hp" machine. With 12 speeds, I have a gear for everything.

Im a little confused about your comparison. You keep talking about your Kubota BX which is a SUBcompact tractor vs a larger compact tractor. Of course the lift ratings are going to be higher on a bigger tractor. The BX is just a very handy, oversized lawn tractor vs something built as a tractor. I have a BX23s and love all of the things it can do and my wife wouldnt have it any other way. It’s small enough to get into tight areas but has enough lift capacity (loader and 3pt) and enough hp to do most large yard/small acreage farms. Moving up to a compact might be what you need but you cant compare the two, head to head. Lastly, my concern (in my area) is dealer availability. I have 2 Kubota dealers within 20 miles of me (4 within 50). The nearest Kioti is 100 miles away. Parts a service also play a big part in tractor selection. While my BX sees mostly light duty work around the yard the bigger the tractor the more stuff you’re gonna break and need parts for. The larger the property, the more service you will need. Being able to have access to that within a 20-30 min drive vs a 2 hr drive, worth it to go with Kubota for me……although the tables may be different in other areas.

Who is comparing the two head-to-head?! I certainly didn’t. I open the video saying that I keep breaking my BX and it is time for me to step up to a bigger tractor. In fact I think that’s the only time I mention the BX in the video. Im not sure what is confusing about that. I do compare the Kioti to Kubota because I have also reviewed the L2502 and unfortunately even though they are the same “class” of tractor as compacts. The L series lift capacity isn’t even on the same planet as its competitors.

@@Jtwizzle Holy cow, well Kubota better step up its game and lower their prices. They can’t just think the name is enough. Now I do love my tractor but I will admit the other tractors that are the same size (B2601) will outperform the loader. But the 3 point and 3 range transmission is pretty good. But just those two things doesn’t make up for the price. I was looking at the LX model but did you know that the 90% of the LX is the same parts as the B2601. Hydraulic cylinders, transmission operator station, rear end, three point hitch, engine, I’m sure there’s more well as you know more of a price a lot more.

I traded my L2501 for the 2620 Cab, and other than the comfort of the cab , ac, and some comfort features, I'f I could undo the deal I would. Hydraulics are horrible. I'll deal with it and eventually get used to it, bit sorry Kioti is no where near on the same playing field now that I have owned both.

@PeeksPeakHobbyHomestead yeah mainly share for people in the comment section who are considering tractors so they understand the real differences in these machines. unfortunately, there are not a lot of good videos out there showing this. I wish I had known and done more research

There is nothing wrong with a Kioti. For 90% of people, hydrostatic is the way to go. I have no regret getting a HST L2502 vs a gear model.

Be very careful with TYM. Their RK 25 is junk my friend owned on for over 1 year. Only put 12 hrs on it. The rear housing cracked and their idea was liquid weld After paying a lawyer they bought it back.

If I recall correctly, TYM make/makes alot of the parts on the Kioti tractors. That being said, i looked at Kioti when i was looking and it couldnt compete with the TYM lift capacity and price. I would urge you, DO NOT buy a tractor that cant lift over 2000lbs(1 ton). Those IBC totes you're filling are over a ton, and it wont be long before you want to stack them, or lift them high enough to put in a truck bed.

@@PeeksPeakHobbyHomestead a tractor sales company on here has a video of 2 tractors one smaller than the other and said why go for one barely able to lift when can have one with the ability they also showed how much ballast and counterweight helped

Just because it can lift it doesn't mean you should Now with that being said anything sub 25 or 30 hp shouldn't be lifting anything over 1000 pounds Because generally 80% of the people buying those tractors are city slickers that just purchased their little 5 acre little Mc'ranch that have never set foot on a tractor before and they go grab something that weighs 1200 pounds and it's off center from the center of the tractor and they back up or go over uneven ground and they get hurt or worse killed sure the tractor could lift it but it had no business having that type of operator behind it. Those little Korean jobs like kioti and tym and ls would be pretty dangerous especially to someone like me who constantly pushes the envelope. I bought a little Kubota l4060 for my wife to do yard work and I was surprised that thing has about an 1800 pound lift on that small tractor.

That's why you put ballast(a lot) and fill the rear tires.
