Peel Regional Police provide update on search for missing 3-year-old in Mississauga

A Peel Regional Police superintendent confirmed emergency crews found the body of a missing three-year-old boy in Mississauga's Credit River. He was last seen at Erindale Park Thursday evening. Officers said foul play isn't suspected.

The play ground is over 100ft from the creek with a clear line of sight . I have walked there hundreds of times. I feel like the parents are completely responsible and should be held accountable.

This park is near and dear to me. I always jog from there down to riverdale park along credit river, if not only filming videos on how beautiful that park is. BUT what I notice EVERY TIME is how PACKED IT IS with families having their picnics letting their toddlers and babies walk/run/crawl about freely. In the back of my head, I always thought something like this would happen eventually and I hate that I’m right. My heart goes out to the family.

The spot where he was found has a shallow tail out rite bellow the ice breaker. If the city had kept the breaker free from wood like they are suppose to chances are some one would have seen him in the water or he would have drifted dowm stream to the shallow spots . I fish the credit river and no the water like the back of my hand. If he had fallen in at the iron bridge the river would have run shallow enough for him to get stopped by a rock before the breaker.he must have wondered straight to the breaker and was being a curious kid on the edge when he fell in. Even the fast water just down stream of that would only take you for a short ride before it releases you to safety. The kid fell into the only spot in all of erindale that could pin and trap him.

btw i know these types of parents, They leave their kids infront of cars on roads and in a park u think they will keep an eye? it's a three year old atleast u gotto have visible contact with him! but i know these parents, "i have many kids they can do whaatever they want " if one goes i'll make another. yalla yalla. so dont feel so sorry for the parents. but IM devasted for the poor 3 year old...........poor kid.......RIP
