it is an old wives tale and very untrue, the mother's movement has absolutely no effect on the umbilical cord, but it is not so good for your heart because your heart has to pump against gravity to keep blood flowing to your hands and fingers when in that position for long periods of time, but luckily, she has help and is doing great.

Get a pencil and paper up there and write down the tools you need to How and when you go back down, gather them up and take a pencil and paper with you so you can write down everything you need. I’m a big note taker because my brain doesn’t function very well lol.
