I am a paramedic and suffer from PTSD. I have anxiety really terribly and watching your videos every night before I go to bed has to be one of my favorite parts about my day. Maybe it’s weird but your videos ease my anxiety and allow me to go to sleep in a good head space. So thank you, from the bottom of my heart.

Since I started watching the hoof trimming and listening to Graeme's music choices I have had fewer bad spells. I haven't needed to be hospitalized at all. I have even gone back to work part-time. 🇨🇦🛒🛒🛒🎆🎆🎆🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂😊😊😊😊

As with many, I have also been there and know how it feels. I'm *not* going to tell you to "cheer up!" (Oh boy, the least helpful words there are, eh?) I got past it with Prozac initially, but due to a change in circumstances, we had to move to the countryside. I was off those tablets in a month. The change in pace of life, living in a bungalow on the edge of a farmer's field, and the natural peace and quiet gave my mind room to recover. I was brought up in a village and living in towns and cities which I'd done since leaving home to work at 19 was too much for me. "Going home" to the countryside, despite being 300 miles from my parents, was like throwing a switch in my head. Is there something like that which you could do? Have you always dreamed of being in a different type of place, or doing a different kind of job? It's not a guarantee of recovery, but it would definitely help. Meanwhile, all my best "e-support vibes" are heading your way, along with some virtual hugs, chocolate and your favourite beverage. Again, not a cure, but nobody has been harmed by someone actually giving a damn about them, and I genuinely do. 🤗

I know nothing about cows except they provide the milk for my cereal and cream for my coffee (Yum). Now I try to guess what Graeme is going to do... I only found this channel a couple of days ago and boy am I hooked?!! Almost everything about your videos makes me feel nostalgic! I’m from Northern Ireland, but I have been living in Australia for the last 12 years or so, and for the last few years I have been perpetually in a state of homesickness! Pretty much all of your footage of the countryside, villages, farms etc (so everything really!) reminds me of home. It all looks like Northern Ireland to me! Also, my grandfather had a dairy farm, which was always my favourite place to be growing up and even as an adult. I spent most of my school holidays at the farm and most weekends. It was like the central hub for our entire extended family to all converge on whenever possible! So many fond memories of being on the farm, getting up with my grandfather while it was still dark, while the rest of my cousins slept, so we could start on his work for the day and get ready for milking. Granda teaching me how to milk a cow by hand before he would even let me touch the milking machine! Ah, the beautiful memories. Unfortunately my grandfather passed away this year, aged 96. He had an amazing life though. He was the fittest man any of us knew. He was quite small in stature, but boy he could give me a dead arm my whole life, up until close to the end! He was so fit and healthy that Drs from a Belfast hospital asked if they could do lots of tests and research on him, to see if he (and his body) held any secrets to longevity of health and why his heart was so incredibly strong, I believe that was when he was in his 80’s! And lastly! But definitely not least! My other grandfather, my dad’s dad, was from Scotland, so I grew up with that lovely Scottish lilt in my ear from him. So it’s lovely to hear your accent as it reminds me of my grandfather. AND!! I went to university in Edinburgh to become a registered nurse and stayed on after to work in the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary for a couple of years. I also worked in the Western general hospital for a while. I miss Edinburgh. It’s my favourite city in the world. And I have lived and travelled all over the world, but nowhere quite measures up to Edinburgh in my opinion. I am just loving your videos. I love that I have so many videos to catch up on! By the way, you are an absolute natural in front of the camera. You come across as a seasoned professional, who has had his own TV show for years! In my humble opinion, I believe that your videos are so well done, everything about them, from your being a natural presenter, your choice of music, your ‘B footage’ to your editing, along with whatever else goes into making a good video/programme, the quality is that of any great programme you can find on TV. Along with all of the above, your regular high # of views for every video, I would be very surprised if you aren’t approached at some point in the near future, if you haven’t already been, to actually do a series for TV. One only has to look at the comments section for every single video, to see just how much people love what you do. When you can attract so many people who have never had an interest in your subject matter before, and get rave reviews every single time, trust me, you are doing everything right my friend. Whatever the winning formula is for a great TV show to be successful, I believe you have found it. Well done Graeme! I don’t know you at all, but I can’t help but feel really proud of what you have achieved here! A lad from Scotland, making videos about his work, looking after cow’s hooves! Lol Sorry, but that as an idea, really doesn’t sound all that impressive, or like it would attract all that many viewers, and yet it does! Hi there 😊, I want to thank you for teaching me about hoof trimming!🎉 I currently live up in the Ferndale/Lynden part of the PNW. Just south of BC Canada. I grew up on a small farm and raised my boys on a farm. Their mom and dad felt It was important to raise and care something beyond themselves. I agree with you 💯 that I can't beat starting a day in the farmyard. No matter what season it is. It looks like the weather is the same for both of us. The going joke is if you are visiting here from another state, you can only tell your your family and was the whole time 😅😅😅. Again, thank you for sharing your life and family.

I hope u see this: I absolutely love your videos, your positivity, kindness and sense of humor. I finally got my daughter to watch one of your videos (this one) and for the only time I have ever heard- you cussed with a solid G- D it. 😖 Those suspenders got the best of ya. Kids like your videos, learn from you. Sadly, my daughter’s not a fan. I just wished I would picked a video I watched already.

This channel is a breath of fresh air. Great attitudes and human kindness. Great content and Music selection. I didn't think I would be watching Hoof Trimming/Fixing. I live in Phoenix/Arizona USA. Far from south west Scotland. So much green. Using the drone caps it all off. Thank you for your hard work and dedication to healing and make life better for theses cows.

Across the pond and down in Texas. Just bought a house and our neighbors property is used for some cattle and a couple lamas from watching your videos i was always looking at their feet. Yesterday while talking with the owners and feeding them i found out she watches you too. So just know you've got love and prayers coming from Texas and from people who appreciate the knowledge you put out here for us. God bless 💜

I love your videos. I also grew up on a farm in Utah, USA. Cows are treated much better now than when I was kid. Modern farms are much cleaner, and the cows are treated so much better. The cows I grew up with commonly were in 1 foot or more manure all the time. It was a common practice. Things are much much better.

Graham I love the look of the new truck, together with the green machine. It important to project a professional image as well as work ware no matter what we are doing for the customers, and I think you are doing that. When you arrive looking ready to do a great job that in its self goes a long way, and when your machine & vehicle is clean it shows a professional image & respect to your customers as well. Thanks Mark Dutka Oakville Ontario Canada.

Great points about professionalism that can apply to any business or enterprise, or effort even as an employee. I knew one young lady, a nurse, who was all the patients’ favorite - because she’d always go to work with a hairdo, and some makeup to sparkle the scrubs. It wasn’t even about being beautiful - she smwouldn’t have needed makeup for that. She was a light in spirit and wore it well without getting so gussied up. It just made her feel good and the extra effort she put in so consistently showed her bosses she was excited to be there and her patients that she treasured them enough to try and brighten their day, since the scrubs were fairly boring. She worked with the elderly, and had to be very physically strong 💪, so here comes this little stout gal with a big smile and her hair done different every day and it gave the patients something to talk about, or guess on. Good point to always arrive prepared, ready, and excited. That’s how I feel after cleaning my kitchen: I can’t wait to cook for my family again and I get all kinds of ideas for recipes - the maintenance clears the space for imagination and creative solutions to arise.
