I'm re-watching this on October 4th, nearly a week after his passing. I've always been amazed at his ability to face the bleakest news with optimism and determination. One may not often witness these qualities in someone has ill as he. He was willing to be a guinea pig for cancer research. What an unselfish, beautiful gift that was. I so wish it had all gone differently for him, however, he touched a great many people, well and ill alike. I'm happy his videos will remain to teach and inspire. God rest you, Dan. You're loved and very missed. Thank you.

Dan I discovered your chanel a few days ago and I want to say THANK YOU for sharing part of your life and this experience with us. I truly mean it. I'm a 24 year old girl from Portugal and I too was diagnosed with a rare type of cancer (a sarcoma as well, with a prevalence of 1 in a million) that no one knows nothing about in my country, so I had to travel to London to go the Marsden, where there is a specialist. They really are fantastic there. I have to tell you that I love your attitude and the prespective you have of your situation. The fact that you keep thinking about helping others and serve as a case for people in the future, who end up diagnosed with the same type of cancer.. it's really amazing. I mean, you are amazing. I respect those people .been struggling to get a proper diagnosis. First they said terminal peritoneal cancer and after 3 months 3 biopsies. It turned out to abdominal tuberculosis .during that 3 months I had difficult days with terminal cancer idea that spread out all my body. But the lesions was the cause of bacteria. So I watched that videos over and over .I respect them .may God with them

i have been studying youtube cancer cases, and the only ones who survived cancer, are the ones with vegeterian diets, ozone therapies and mostly that did not accept diagnose from dr and/or traditional treatment of chemo... one that surprisingly did not work is ph balance use of baking soda... we are all terminal. wish you energy and vitality! PeeWeeToms True, although stats are out on traditional medecine. i still dont know the odds. too many variables. sugar develops the tumor but i think inflammation births it. i read a book on cell reproduction from an MD and now think i have enough pull to create opinions on the facts that this MD claims. In truth i know absolutely Nothing. Thu s truth liberates me from anxiety and fears of the unknown. in conclusion i keep studying the matter, for no other reason than curiosity.i also read that pre embryo, (we are )It Is a malignant cell. That is the right attitude (8:55). Focus on fighting the fight. THe other stuff you can do later. I would give myself 100% to the disease and to the fight. Nothing else would matter -- family, friends, some, etc. Yeah, but I would want to fight back against it.

Glad you get the money sorted I also have a life limiting illness and although I’m jogging to the pearly gates while everyone else is walking NOBODY is guaranteed a tomorrow!, All we know is we are here in this hour..minute...second so enjoy every beautiful thing in life now! You could be a Olympic athlete vegan and be hit by a car ect. I’m really glad you have a brilliant attitude and amazing family support around you !! In my experience even when the few times I’ve been told I won’t make the night and luckily pulled,through I wanted to be stoic ..brave especially in front of family but it takes more balls to say “I’m scarred ..terrified” than it is to hold it all in and pretend you’re fine ..you are such a have guy and I’m so sorry you have to put life on hold and go through this well ..SHIT..is all I can say about it!!
