Hey! I've randomly saw this video on my feed and I was also wondering what are super treasure hunts? I've always seen Hot Weels as just cool little car I could collect if I liked the vehicule, is there some sort of rare one ?

hi no one answered you so i will but yes! wont go super in depth but some will have a special symbol behind the car in the package, monster trucks are a bit different

Welcome to The world of collecting! Super treasure hunts are a rare "mainline" casting which possess a more premium quality than your standard hot wheels casting (usually can be spotted by their chromelike paintjob). They are packaged the same any other mainlines except a small golden mark behind. They are ramdomly placed in case boxes, but Truth they are almost impossible to find in regular stores (walmart, target, dollarshop,etc) because most probably there are people ready waiting just before any employee opens a case.....if you find one in a store willy nilly you hit jackpot...thanks a lot for watching 👍

It happens on some specific models, and it does not matter where you live. Maybe in europe there is a higher chance to get them, but I'm not sure

I went to visit most of the 1/64 shops in Tokyo Japan last year and the impression I got was that Hot Wheels do not have the standing of Asian diecast makers. How about Malaysia?

Keep your eyes on Hot Wheels Vending Machines around the shopping malls in Malaysia, usually with RM10 each for mainline(TH included), 25 for special, and 35 for premium. Sometimes can even find old series.
