Loved this reaction! Ronnie actually did an interview with Octane about this song and ultimately its about a guy who saved the world from destruction , but got labeled as the villain (think the crucifixion of christ and how he was treated on the way to the cross) . So, since the world labeled and treated him as the villain, he decided to take up that mantel and be the one that destroys the world he wasted time saving, more or less. The message can definitely be applied to how media will twist a story to insite anger or make someone the villain or hero even when they dont have all the facts Or even how the masses behave on social media and cancel culture.

The upside down star is actually if you look is the f i r for falling in reverse, and it's also a play off of a scene from Star wars which if you look at the lyrics he actually says I'm about to go Darth I'm about to go Disney I'm going in the darkness to infinity. Those are all related to Star wars and space and Disney and that's why that scene was the way it was. As far as the church is concerned the entire song is about the industry hating on him, I don't know why I don't know the history but apparently the industry as a whole does not like him. So the church is representative of that established industry that society just goes along with and he's burning it all down because they oppose him directly. As far as the like demon that's on the typewriter that's his own demons and him overcoming them to be the best that there is. It's all symbology.

As a a Falling I’m Reverse fan, and as a Catholic, I was like, “no, Not the Priest..and the ppl in church..” But I then rewatched with the lyrics. Ronnie is most definitely NOT a satanist. He’s got songs like, “God, if are Above…” saying have I lived my life the way that should. His song, “Brother” is about his older brother dying a few years ago. He says on the song something like “I’ve prayed and prayed for the hurt to go away. The pain gets worse, it never stops, and I’ve asked the LORD for us to swap” I think he really dislikes “organized” religion. The man was traumatized by his mom abandoning him basically at birth due to addiction. He’s been through the ringer. He even went to jail for a self defense death that HE did NOT cause. He was an addict but has been clean for YEARS. His dad is born again Christian. The red banner is directly from Star Wars’ Force Awakens, to go with the line, “Somebody send me some positive energy, About to go DARTH (as in Vader or Sith), About to go Disney, Into the Darkness, Into Infinity (Buzz Lightyear>Toy Story>Pixar>owned by Disney). He even tweeted that “this is going to ruffle some feathers.” He’s talked about this before but a person, famous or not, can only take so much. People love to hate him and say he’s every “-ists” in the book. Basically, If ppl are going to make me out be a villain, I might just become one. He wants to speak his mind and ppl online freak out. Anyho, he’s been rapping for years in his songs and just got better as he went. He grew up with hip hop and rock. I SAW them live a few days ago (2.5.23) at a sold out show in Lexington KY in Rupp arena. My man performed this song flawlessly and the crowd went WILD. I posted my video (shoddy camera work cuz I was trying to watch the concert and not focus on the video). You can HEAR how amazing it was. He switches off vocals with his bassist, Tyler Burgess. You should check out his “Trilogy” (3 songs that tie together “Losing My Mind”, “Losing My Life”, then “Drugs”

I very much come from the metal world (having said that I attended a concert that Tech and Krizz played in Australia in 2016 and took some photos that I'm pretty damn proud of) but seeing people from other industries tipping they toes into the different music cultres through genrehopping bands like this makes me so damn happy. Genuinely enjoyed the content. Falling in Reverse is one of my absolute favorites. He literally can't be defined in one single genre, the man's utterly gifted. People always trying to put a halt on his progression but he just keeps putting out bangers, so much depth, story and raw passion behind everything he does. Big Krizz hit it... I'm a pray-every-day, baptized Christian. That doesn't change the fact that I've been thru SERIOUS childhood trauma. I Personally feel his energy as if he wakes a FIRE in me.
