I met the band, once. The band was in Toronto Canada and my friends and I went up to their tour bus after the show. Jimmy Pop and I traded cigarettes (he wanted to try a Players) The signed the back of a sticker with "Thanks for the smotchie" This was back in the mid 90's for their album One Fierce Beer Coaster (Fire, Water, Burn was the hit from that) I STILL have the cigarette, and the autographed sticker hahaha

You don’t need to introduce Gen Z to the Bloodhound Gang. Most of us grew up with their music-we’re not unfamiliar with it. Also, can we stop acting like Gen Z are just a bunch of kids or teenagers? We’re not! Many of us are in our late 20s or even early 30s now. We grew up with the same type of music you’re talking about. It’s frustrating when people (and channels like this) misrepresent generations, making it seem like Gen Z doesn’t know anything about the ’90s. Here’s the thing: Gen Z isn’t just kids born after the 2000s. Most Gen Zers were born in the ’90s, and by 2025, a lot of us will be in our mid-30s. There’s also this misconception that Gen Z starts in 1997 and stretches into the 2000s. That’s not accurate. Generations don’t overlap like that. Gen Z starts in 1990 and ends in 1999. Similarly, Millennials (or Gen Y) cover the entire 1980s. The idea that generations can somehow stretch into overlapping years is just wrong-generations are generally measured in decades. The confusion probably comes from the Baby Boomers, whose generation lasted longer due to the extended baby boom period. But that’s an exception, not the rule. So, no, the ’90s isn’t split between Millennials and Gen Z. It’s all Gen Z. And honestly, if someone from Gen Z doesn’t know the Bloodhound Gang, that’s on them.
