Their last 1 on 1 was on PekoMiko XMas 2020 when Pekora had a sleepover at Miko's house, but they still did some group collabs after that. Fans used to ship them more than they were comfortable with, so they probably don't want to feed the parasocial fans further and decide that they should only get along off stream.

Pretty sure they just don't want the heat. Imagine you have a real friendship with someone and you both start a job like this together, and then insane people start obsessing over your friendship. And you have to perform friendship for these people with someone you're already friends with. and they also want to make it romantic. It's awkward and puts a weird strain on things. They're performers and I think they're smart to do what they can to protect their lives when they're not performing. I'm sure they're like work friends with a lot of hololive girls and this goes for everyone, I seriously doubt most of them are actually close with each other outside of work.
