@@ivanbluecool i think buff removal altogether is too OP. But I’d love an invul pierce along with a buster up. Or IDEALLY an invul pierce and a crit damage buff. A buster up is fine but Gil doesn’t really need more NP damage. His np is already one of the hardest hitting in the game, especially since he can stack the effect of his first skill 2x with double koyan on turns 2 and 3. And even without double koyan his np damage is among the highest for aoe servants (post buff). What he needs is a way to make his facecards do damage. Currently without double koyan, his facecards hit like wet noodles. With just his own buffs, his card damage is quite poor. Meanwhile with just their own buffs other servants can do as much as an NP with a buster crit. Gil is nowhere near that. So if you compare Gil powered up by merlin landing a crit, or another ssr dps servant with their own crit buffs also powered up by merlin landing a crit on an enemy, the servant who has their own crit buff will ALWAYS outdamage gil on facecard damage.

Gilgamesh is my favorite character. And thankfully he seems to like being my servant. Bc I kid you not, this man showed up 5 times in 250 sq. I had previously spent 700+sq on Waver’s banner (only got np1) and wanted to spend the remaining 260 on Gil, but I thought there’s no way I’d get him in that little sq. And then he showed up in my first 10-roll. And then like 100sq later he showed up 2x in the same roll. And then a bit later I got another copy, and then when rolling singles (bc 260 doesn’t divide by 3 evenly) I got him to np5. And then on Gilfest 2, I yolo pulled a single ticket for the Gilgamesh buster crit CE and instead he showed up to by my first and only USO. Now he’s lvl 120, 10/10/10 10/10/10, 2k 2k. I’m never gonna get that lucky again in any gacha game in my entire life. So I’m gonna appreciate him while I have him.

NP5 is max for normal people, only OCD people who need to unlock such amazing stuff like a tiny bit more damage on extra attack and lore flavoured extra damage to one class would say it's not. But whales going to justify rolling 6 copies just to save time from bonding up.

Expect Pekora being told by Fubuki or someone else and either rolling again or waiting for the next Gil banner xD

to break it down, an SSR servant gets 90 servant coins per copy that you get. to get an SSR servant to lvl 120 you need exactly 300 servant coins and another 360 servant coins to unlock all append skills to a total of 660 servant coins. so to be short, you dont just need 6 copies of the SSR servant but also get the servant to atleast bond 12 and to give you an idea of how much exp it takes to get a servant a bond 10+, it took me about 250+ golden apples worth of farming = 300 christmas lottery boxes just to get my Space Ishtar from bond 10 to bond 11. the exp increases the higher the bond levels btw.
