hopefully someone can give me an answer here . i use the nomad design ridgeback long cast lures and a few other metals . i have gotten mixed answers on wether to put a snap swivel or just tie directly onto the lure? what is the right and best way to do it please need help !

Hi mate, tie it directly to the treble hook with a multi snap swivel split ring FG plait blood knot.. Works perfect for me every time 👍

I personally hate snaps I’ve lost good fish because they have opened up, I’ve only lost one fish because a loop knot tied direct to the lure wore through, big tuna, light line, long fight.

I like how he's sporting a TFO fly rod outfit and getting it done, rather than these guys bringing $2k each fly outfits, can't cast and can't get a fish! You don't have to be rich to do this sport of fly fishing!
