Found this band and song on a very dark time in my life where I lost someone very close and dear to my heart. My cousin introduced them to me and as I jumped in more and more into their music, it really comforted me through all the grief I was going through and no matter how terrible that time of my life was there was this time when I found Sticky Fingers. I think your average person can tell when something isn't genuine. We have a certain instinct for it. So when you hear someone singing from the soul about something real and meaningful it's truly infectious. But there is definitely something special about his voice. Familiar yet you can't place it. Feels nostalgic no matter when you listen to it.

LOVE this song- I write this in memory of my Oldest Bro who called himself "Cyclone" this song describes him he had a temper and pain inside that he didn't know how to express as a young man, he grew up became a father a provider- a Man. We lost him too soon. He was killed- shot in the back in the wrong place at the wrong time- didn't make it to 30 years old. It breaks my heart that I outlived my big brother by 10 years, oh how I miss you Mateo! I wish you were here through all the suffering cuz we could use your strength. But I feel you and know you are here in spirit! Until we see eachother again I LOVE YOU BRO!!!!!

There’s always a positive way to look at the things that make us sad, and it’s important to keep a positive mindset during these moments in your life. That chapter might have ended but in time wonderful people will come into your life and show you beautiful new chapters. This music is the kind that hits you in the ears and knocks you on your ass. These artists create this pocket of humanity that its damn difficult to find.. maybe in santa cruz or those beach towns in california. The truly amazing thing is that these artists bring that pocket of humanity wherever they go when they play. thanks man, cheers.

3:08 this is honestly one of the best acoustic breakdowns I've ever heard. Perfect harmonization between the guitars and the solo is so simple yet satisfying. A memorable solo doesn't have to be complicated. I see a lot of Frusciante influence in Seamus' playing!

This was one of our favourite songs. Everytime we were on the road, which was the thing we loved the most, we would listen to it and she would ask me to sing it for her. Driving beside her while listening to music is one of the things i miss the most. Now i still listen to this but i look to my side and she's not there anymore. I would give it all to go back. Back when i felt true hapiness and joy, when it all made sense. I hope she still listens to this song and remembers the good old times.
