Awesome video. I love my pellet stove but the blowers keep going bad and are expensive. I wish there was a way to replace bearings on both, room air blower and exhaust blower to save money.

Are you lubricating the electric motors? Also, if you're buying them from pellet stove places and not googling the fan motor number, you're gonna pay too much. My blower fans at stove place are 200 but find them for 60 on eBay or another non stove store.

WE just replaced the blower motor in our enviro pellet stove. After doing so, it worked great but in turn, our circuit board completely quit. No lights or controls. It was fine before. We checked fuse and all wiring connections/ Any suggestion so appreciated.

Hi I've a breckwell too. Does the blower fan must turn on left or right? Because I've remove motor and fix it but I don't know if motor has to make turn the fan on left or right direction. Yours seems turn in left. Thanks

My pellet stove is not blowing out the ash out of the pot like it used to it fills up solid within a day would that be related to the blower motor

Some also have fans on the auger motor to keep it cool. The fans are the main disadvantage of pellet stoves, both the nonstop noise and not functioning during a power outage. The exhaust fan must run at all times on most stoves, and the room convection blower runs pretty much all the time as well because they don't heat with radiant heat like a wood or coal stove and the pellet stove can overheat and auto shut down . Obviously a generator or battery backup system can get you through a minor power interruption but many people with stoves are interested in the off grid or disaster preparation aspect of keeping their families warm so it's not perfect.

@@dustinpollard6237 Enjoyed ur pellet stove -worked for over 20 years. The "noise" of the fans was negligible. About to fix it and hope for another 20. I prefer pellet bags instead of woodpiles with spiders.

Well, that's great to hear. I never advocated for a wood stove and don't remember commenting to you about your stove? You can come get my pellet insert because its sitting on my porch rusting. Now i just throw a bucket of anthracite coal into the Harman Magnafire Elite insert i restored each day and heat 2,000 sq feet in PA mountains to 75 degree floors on a 10 degree day for, let's say, maybe 400 bucks a year? I sleep great knowing a safe and centuries old heating method isn't going to fail or have a log jam, back up, and kill us all. Aside from all that, i have spiders on my porch even if its clean, so im not going to let spiders dictate how i run my house. I was only trying to provide info to someone who asked a question and quoting "noise" as if im imagining it or exaggerating is pretty stupid because you can search forums and see the main complaints are noise and power failure. My insert is in my main living area, and many people will do the same, so the noise is a very prevalent issue, just because it doesn't bother you, doesn't mean its non existent.
