Great video ,now its 2023 and theres a pellet shortage ,plus pellets are hard to find here in NC so my englander will be converted to propane.A 40,000 btu pot burner ,auto modulating controller,new fan control. and a real wall mounted thermostat. done with hauling pellets.

That’s interesting we do not seem to have a pellet shortage here, quite a few different places to get them from

My 13 year old Englander had problems this last winter, we replaced the vacuum switch and both auger motors. Now I find that trying to increase the blower speed doesn't work at all, though there is a minimal amount of air moving out of the top vent. This situation means my (very small) house still takes a very long time to heat up and even then it's still not quite comfortable. So I'm in the market for this blower and just want to be certain that there is no other possible problem (ie fuse) that could be causing this before I purchase. I've watched your video a few times and can see that we shouldn't have any real problem doing this ourselves, thanks.

Its really not too hard overall, its a little cramped once you get into the area the blower is but with some extensions and stuff like that its doable

@@Lethal_Venom Well, I got my new blower motor some months back but would not go anywhere near this job until the summer heat and humidity departs. Getting chilly but I don't normally start my pellet stove until around mid November. My son just bought a massive new tool set so we're ready to go with this motor swap pretty soon :)

@@Lethal_Venom SUCCESS! My son and I did the replace last week and it went very smooth. The wire connections from the motor fit the connections from the circuit board so nothing special needed there. Old motor was very clogged as expected so the new motor will have to come out once a year or so for a cleaning. It was awesome to get my stove up to full speed again. Your video was a big help!

Nice video man! I just blew my stove out with a leaf blower because it was all backed up with soot. Got it back inside and fired up and now my room blower fan is loud. It’s always been a bit loud. It I think some ash dust got in there. I’m ordering a new one off eBay. Just watched your video on replacing it. Thanks!

Awesome good luck with it! It’s not too bad to do it but mine was in a really tight spot. The new blower is a lot quieter and has been great since filming this video into this heating season

Man U go from cobra blowers to pellet stove blowers , that’s life in the northeast, lol

This is what we call opportunity videos lol. Just trying to stay in the algorithm so that I hit the 500 subs by Jan 1st. If I just uploaded the cobra videos they would be spread to thin to stay in the algorithm. I have a few Destiny 2 videos I’m dropping soon too just for the hell of it. More cobra videos being worked on and around the corner too

Is the the combustion blower or room air blower?
@Lethal_Venom3 жыл бұрын
No idea I just looked for a replacement blower for it, it’s not really my area of expertise
@Tomsfoolery.2 жыл бұрын
What he replaced is the room air blower. The combustion blower is on the side of the stove near the back where the stove pipe hooks up. That one is much easier to swap out!

Not liking those two immediate right angles on the exhaust pipe. Puts a strain and immediate ash build up on the stove. Should of put a simple 45 deg pipe. Straight shot thru the wall is the best.
@Lethal_Venom Жыл бұрын
Had to be installed that way but thanks for noticing. I’d rather have ash build up vs catching the inside wall on fire due to being too close to it
