The problem with it, they tried to do the apple play and force you into an eco system that was subscription based. If you do not pay the fee per month, the bike/treadmill is bricked. Who in their right mind would pay over +2K for a product that force me into a subscription or I cannot use it... People figured out that all you need is a regular stationnairy bike, a tablet and a cadence and you can do the same workout with Peloton and no subscription require. Also it was a fad for Covid. Once Covid was done, people started going back outside to train. Also doesn't mean it going to happen and even if they do sell, if the business model is the same, it will change nothing!

I'm not aware of Peloton bricking the machines if you don't pay, I believe you can still use them but you have limited class / live class access. But that aside, it seems like the lockdowns pulled forward the market for high-end home-exercise equipment but now there is not only more competition, but as you say - many people can access classes/programs on KZbin. Plus, the lockdowns were just a weird, weird time and we've moved on to... well, different weird times. Cheers!

Another good one, Preet! Always learn something. Covid definitely created a lot of "perfect storms" and it's fascinating to see the fallout and how many different companies and sectors have managed post-pandemic.

Thanks! And you’re absolutely right: it’s like the world is a snow globe and Covid shook it up and there was a flurry of action but things are settling to a new normal.

Shorting stock in general is scary imo. I have enough trouble taking the time to find the companies I want to invest in, but maybe I'm just an out of touch 40 year old Great video : )

Could you provide a more detailed outline of what is typically included in an Investment Policy Statement? Would love a step-by-step video or "Idiot's Guide" to developing one of these. Thank you!

That’s a fantastic idea for a video and I’ll try to make that in a few weeks. Thanks!
