hey, lets say i put 2800$ in RRSP for 2024. now it is 2025. does that mean I am at 0$ again and need to put again for 2025 tax reduction? i know my 2800 is stilll there but it doesnt carry over for 2025 contribution correct?
@PreetBanerjee21 күн бұрын
Based on your example, you would have made a contribution in 2024 of $2800, and assuming that the contribution room you had in 2024 was $2800 then yes, that would have reduced your contribution room to $0, but you would then get new contribution room for 2025 assuming you had earned income in 2024.

Ok, this is very cool. I did it several times with a few minor changes to the narrative and each time the story that was generated was a bit different, but equally entertaining. I'm now creating a "podcast" to share with my wife. Fingers are crossed that she will love it as much as I enjoyed generating it (with the help of AI of course.). Thanks for sharing this great tech with your followers.

Yeah, it’s generally quite good. I’ve been mostly using it to help me learn. I can create a personal podcast playlist of things I want to learn more about by just feeding it technical documents and research papers. Love it!

Genuinely cool use of AI that's a fresh breath of air compared to the soulless grifts you usually see (like making worthless slop e-books and selling them). Thanks for sharing. You mentioned showing people a picture of their older selves. Why not use AI to combine that technique with this one - generate a picture of your older self to look at while listening to the podcast?
@PreetBanerjeeАй бұрын
That’s a great idea. I suspect that by the end of 2025 we’ll be able to have conversations with our older selves just like we are on a zoom call. I’ve already set up a streaming avatar of myself - and it’s a bit clunky for real-time conversations but six more months or so and it’ll be much smoother, given how fast things are moving.

What’s funny it’s just imagine all the other ones out there that have successfully done this multiple times there’s plenty of them not saying it’s a good thing or anything. I’m just saying that people do in fact do this and get away with all of it but what’s the difference between somebody stealing bitcoin and having politicians that all have insider trading, which is supposedly supposed to be illegal Well for us peasant citizens anyway but what’s the difference between stealing the bitcoin and them basically stealing money from the stock market

Technically, your income tax owing would be less, and if you paid income tax during the year then you would have overpaid, thus leading to a larger refund the more you contribute.
