@beteph1641 Hello there and thank you for sharing. Unfortunately I'm unable to assess or diagnose the cause of your bladder urgency as much as I'd like to. There are many factors that can cause bladder urgency and the correct treatment/management needs to address the cause/s. It sounds as though you've seen your doctor which is good; perhaps you may like to ask your doctor for a referral to a urologist or seek assessment/treatment with a pelvic floor physiotherapist. I wish you all the very best and hope you can get this managed in the near future 🙏🏽🌻

Michelle I’m 48 and just recently started a job walking so much more than my body is used to. I’ve gone from just standing at work all day to around 11,000 steps per day. I have also moved to elevation. I moved from Wisconsin to Colorado at 5,600 feet elevation. I’ve started having pain in my bladder and thought it was dehydration so I cut out all alcohol and caffeine and started eating a diet high in water content foods like watermelon, cucumber, celery & the like. I added electrolytes, also coconut water, and drinking lots more water. I wasn’t understanding the pain in my bladder because my urin is very clear and I don’t have pain in the morning until… a supplement lady at my natural grocery store recommended looking up pelvis floor exercises. I caught the small bit in this video where you said walking more can cause pelvic fatigue. I’m starting your kegel workout & I’ll do it 3 times a day before work. Is there anything else I can do to strengthen supporting muscles besides the kegels? Is there anything else you recommend in my situation? Thank you, Beth

How many sets of these exercises to do in a day for beginers ..
@michellephysio3 ай бұрын
@irfandar1235 great question, thank you! This varies from person to person according to pain, muscle tightness and other factors. Beginners warm up (warm bath or shower) and start with less rather than more to avoid exacerbating discomfort. Even if this means starting out with 1-2 exercises and then wait to ensure against aggravating the condition. Then progress gradually perhaps holding the stretch slightly longer and including an additional stretch too. Avoid doing the progression stretches first up especially with pelvic pain. I hope this info is helpful 🙏 MK

Hello ,thanks for your useful videos. I am suffering from chronic lower abdominal pain for two years after four months of caesarian section which is aggravated with any kind of movement.I feel heavyness in lower abdomen during walking. i am diagnosed with pelvic floor dyssynergia, bladder pain syndrome, adenomyosis, coccxydynea. My abdominal pain is intolerable day by day. no definite cause is detected . pelvic muscle spasm or hypertonic pelvic muscle can causes persistent lower abdominal pain?
@michellephysio3 ай бұрын
@tasnubarahman2920 I'm so sorry to read that you're suffering in this way. In direct answer to your question, yes pelvic floor spasm or hypertonic pelvic floor can cause lower abdominal discomfort/pain and a sense of heaviness in the pelvis/lower abdomen. Your comment reads as though you've seen a number of medical practitioners, this condition must be very challenging for you. Your current presentation requires a thorough assessment, do you have access to Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy? This could be a helpful avenue in terms of assessment and management. Please stay in touch if you're able to and let me know if there is any further information I can provide you with, my heartfelt wishes to you 🌻
