I tried this on the advice from a different video. I didn't do it correctly and wasn't going to try it again. But seeing your video demonstration, it makes sense and I'm going to work at it again. When I hit 40, I was diagnosed with arthritis and bursitis in one hip. Gave up all sports because I work in construction. Now 16 years later still hanging in. Hip doesn't really bother me too often. But its people like you sharing your wisdom that helps a guy like me avoid unwanted surgury. Thank you! ❤

@@mugemoraloglu3592 ahh maybe google "Jill Miller Yoga Tune Up Therapy Balls" and see if there is a Turkish shop that sells them or something similar. Or just use some tennis balls ;-)

Wants the best way to sit watch tv or relaxing to relax the pelvic floor muscles
@anjayoga5 жыл бұрын
Don't slouch in a comfy armchair/sofa!! thats the best advice ;-) It crosslegged, squat, use a gym ball, be on the floor, have your feet parallel (don't cross your thighs) - and have a look at this video too: facebook.com/yogaembodied/videos/364368890973702/ . and of course breathe breathe and breathe. Deep relaxed breaths helps the flexibility and tone of the pelvic floor!

@Tony completely. The casual positions we 'always' do are what creates tension. Slouching and crossed legs are definitely creating tension and asymmetry.

Great video, thank you. This feels beneficial. However when on place the ball on the inside of my sit bone it rolls into my anus. I'm a skinny framed man. Does this create any issues?
@anjayoga2 жыл бұрын
The area closer to the anus will be much more sensitive as it has so many nerves. You don't want much pressure here at all. You may have to adjust how you sit (maybe sit on cushions) so you can concentrate closer to the muscles around the sitting bones. Hope that makes sense.

Why men have to really mindful? Is it dangerous?
@anjayoga4 жыл бұрын
Not dangerous at all. You just want to make sure you only put pressure on the muscles around the glutes and sitting bones. -And not any sensitive areas
