Considering the video covers the basic equipment I find that mandrels, barrel inserters and barrel trimmers are unnecessary. Beaufort Ink bushes are tapered so you can turn between centres, if you're not super clumsy (or wear gloves) tube inserts aren't useful, I saw the blanks flush with the tube using a band saw and finish it up with a belt sander. Also if you're are going to recommend these why not recommend pen chuck jaws? But otherwise it's a great video, I've only just found your channel so please keep this up, Thank You. I had never heard of a pen diss assembly kit before, thanks for that tip. I prefer HSS tools but haven't tried Carbide properly yet. Have you tried a sanding sealer, melamine lacquer, carnauba wax finish?
