Yeah, I’d recommend running only one of them in your squad. Besides the DP problem, their roles are very similar for general content, so I’d rather stick in units such as Saria or Horn to cover more niches when going into stages blind.

I actually ran them both in an IS3 run, it wasn't so bad, my only vanguard in that run was Tulip and I didn't really struggle with DP. Whenever there was really early pressure, my invincible gummy handled it effortlessly, until both of her subordinates Mudrock and Penance were ready to take care of the rest. 10/10 would kiss that bear again 👍

@@TerryBear167 not even necessary, I've been testing both of them together in some stages, since I've been trying to get all of the OP I can get my hands on, because Texas is refusing to come home and and I'm getting real desperate🫠. Just one flagbearer and Bagpipe is more than enough. It takes less than 20 seconds to get one of them and less than 15 seconds to get the other one, it's faster than it seems, just let Bagpipe take care of the first enemies and you'll get them in no time. 👍

Mudrock: Tank bosses, Delet swarms. Penance: Tank swarms, Delet bosses. Both. Though Penance does better in general content, and Mudrock does better in Contingency Contract events. Most of the time anyway.

Penance is BETTER on traditional defensive purposes as a offensive unit while mudrock is a go to afk laner

Best way i can explain it that Mudrock can sustain against hard hitting enemies with slow attack speed while penenace cant. Penance can sustain against weak hitting enemies with fast attack speed while mudrock cant sustain against hard hitting enemies with fast attack speed.

Meanwhile me who got both of them decide to raise both of them. Since although they are very similar but their gameplay was so different. Mudmud leaning toward defensive, afk ish that good with burst enemies. While penance is a offensive burst.

i think Mud is easier to use. I am having problems with penance to stay alive against strong enemys, maybe i need lvl her up more...( she is E2 lvl 60 with skills lvl 7) idk

Penance is useful on the offensive side not deffensive. u need to kill them, not to only tank them. so if u can't kill the boss with Penance s3, dont use her

Texas is kinda busted for next CC as i understand, and she have quite valuable potentials yet she's already broken at pot0, but i guess you'd have to see if the next banners are interesting for you. As a F2P i know that i want to save for limited that are coming later :p

in the next 3 months we're gonna have chongyue, reed alter, and yato alter. All 3 is a great ops to have so unless you're feeling lucky I suggest you save up. Texas only have 1 good pot to have anyway which is the -2s redeploy time so you're not missing out much with just pot0

I have both max but I still prefer using Mudrock because she's afk friendly and I'm lazy af lol But if there are global snipers I either use Pen or Hoshi for the reflect So for me, Mud is casual friendly and Pen is for those manual/timed strats
