After our last breakfast at Roti Canai Jalan Argyl, we didn't think it could be beat. However, were we wrong!
Penang keeps turning it OUT. Each meals just keeps getting tastier and tastier.
We had to have an early morning breakfast as mum was getting picked up by my cousin to spend time with his family in Bukit Mertajam (town over on the mainland). So, we made a bee line to Sri Weld Food Court for an incredibly cheap yet tasty breakfast.
Ali Nasi Lemak was one of the main reasons we were there. At a starting price of RM1.80, this is incredible cost effective and one of the spiciest and tastiest nasi lemak you will have in Penang.
We ordered a side of char keow teow and dare I say it, possibly one of the best we've had! Penang Street Food heaven.
Naturally we ended breakfast on a sweet note. When we saw that cempedak goreng was available we ordered one for each of us. Seriously,a taste of deep fried heaven.
Be sure to visit Sri Weld Food Court when you're next in Penang.

Based in Melbourne, Australia, I watch too much TV, eat and drink too much to be a productive member of society. I have an insatiable craving to taste, smell and enjoy everything life has in store for me.
I have been bitten by the wanderlust bug and find nothing more thrilling than packing my bag and jumping on a plane to any far flung destination.
