The Penang Island Waste Transfer Station is an integrated waste-managing facility sited next to the Penang Second Bridge. The facility has been up and running since 2018, handling domestic and bulk waste on the island.
Designed by KH Architect, the architecture of this waste transfer station explores geometrical forms that breaks away from the utilitarian appearance of industrial buildings.
Step inside for a visual tour of the waste transfer station, which takes you through the spatial and sensory experiences with explanation by the architects and the specialists.
