A visit to Pendon Model Railway Museum in Oxfordshire
Not really a model railway but really the most beautiful scenery
with a model train passing through it
Well worth a visit.

I dont think I have ever seen such a realistic layout, especially the scenery. Absolutely superb. And the music fits the subject perfectly in my opinion!

Roger msr actually it really is the other way around. It is all about the scenery and how to get a railway through it you have to go there, the hills go by back 15 feet approx behind the railway. the music is of course Beethoven​s s 6th symphony Pastoral which of course is an musical painting of simplistic country life

If I do visit that area of the UK I certainly would make a point of making a visit to the museum.

A most enjoyable film of an amazing model. Forgive me, but listening to German background music seemed a little inappropriate. Something by Vaughan Williams (Fantasia on a Theme by Thomas Tallis, possibly?) would fit the bill being oh so English! Don't some people find the most ridiculous things to criticise?!
