Penelope & Colin Deserve Better - The Issue With Bridgerton Season 3

I like Francesca's sub plot because it relates to her story arc and what she'll go through in her future, but i agree there feels like aloooooot going on this season and I feel like we only get like 15 minutes of POLIN time out of the 50 minute episodes which is sad

This season actually had...12 subplots...Here they are: 1. The Mondraks joining the Ton. 2. Cressida & Eloise friendship. 3.Featherinton sisters making an heir. 4. Lady Featherington money lies. 5. Violet & Lady Danbury's brother romance. 6. Lady Danbury & the conflict with her brother. 7. Cressida and her family trying to marry her off. 8.Francessca & Lord Kilmartin romance. 9. Benedict & Lady Tilly (& another guy) throuple. 10. The Queen trying to Expose Lady Whistledown. 11. Kate & Anthony starting a family. 12. Penelope & Lord Debling courtship. Wait.... 13.!! Penelope and Eloise's conflict. Some of these subplots exist to aid and motivate the progression of the main characters. Others are to establish main plot points for future seasons. Some are just entertaining, and a few seem unnecessary. But the issue is... Just look how Freaking many of them there are before we even bring up the main plot of Penelope and Colin! Has there ever been this many in a season ever!?! This showrunner reminds me of a 1st time author...in that she desperately needed an Editor.

New show runner for season three. Quality writing storytelling dropped completely. as well as character assassination

Agree! I wanted to see way more Penelope and Colin moments, the carriage scene was TO DIE FOR but we needed more POLIN for their season!!
