Penetrant test welding

Penetrant Test is a type of non-destructive test (NDT) which aims to check the surface of the material for welding defects or not. In this test, it is based on the capillary principle, namely the entry and exit of the penetrant fluid into the discontinuity and from the continuity to the surface.
The working principle of the Penetrant Test is the penetrant fluid that enters the discontinuity and then comes out to the surface with the help of a developer or developer fluid. This developer must have a color that contrasts with the liquid penetrant color so that the test results can be observed easily and correctly during the observation process.
