How many bbls total are you cooling? And are you cold crashing or just maintaining?
@ReactionBrewingCompany4 жыл бұрын
I've held 3bbls total at crashing temps for months straight when I was too busy to drink or can, never had any issues. Crash one at a time and it's not a problem. I only have one pump feeding all the fermenters so it's a little different than your standard setup and I still have no issues crashing and maintaining 35* across all unitanks.

any recommendations when using penguin GC, Im getting the XL I would like to know if you have any issues or thoughts ?
@ReactionBrewingCompany5 жыл бұрын
So far so good, switched over to the XL pump and it dropped all 4 fermenters 3-4* across the board.

Do you thinks its possible to fit 4 of the pumps into the Chiller? I have the 1/2 hp also and It doesn't seem possible.
@ReactionBrewingCompany4 жыл бұрын
I think so. I have 1 XL and 2 regular pumps in mine right now.

Are you using solenoid valves to individually control temps to your different fermenters? How do you have those set up?
@ReactionBrewingCompany4 жыл бұрын
I have a single pump that feeds a first in last out manifold with a solenoid valve for each fermenter. It's all controlled through my panel from Ebrew supply.

Does the penguin chill separate vessels at separate temps?
@ReactionBrewingCompany5 жыл бұрын
Yes, it has ports in the lid to cool up to 4 vessels. You will need an inkbird or something like an inkbird and a pump for each vessel. You would plug the pump into the "cool" on the inkbird.

How did you control your pumps from your ebrew supply panel?
@ReactionBrewingCompany5 жыл бұрын
My brew pumps are controlled by the panel. The glycol pump runs 24/7. There is a recycle on my hard piping so it's never dead headed.
