I remember having an argue with someone on Twitter, bc I said that the old train had a lot of useless trains that made the map unnecesary large.. he tells me "trains on a train station? shit that sound crazy realistic, dind't it?" I've tell him that this is a competitive videogame, maps are not supposed to be "realistic" they are supposed to be balanced and fun to play with, and the new train is it. PS: Train is one of my favs maps, always was, since 1.6... but i wasn't blind, the maps always suffered being too large for no reason... for me this is the way for the perfect version of the map. Anyway, amazing video as always!

Ancient is too large. Season is too large. Train was never too large. This version is way too open and doesnt have enough options. You just end up doing the same 1 of 3 possible things every round. I played maybe 3 games on it and was already bored because every round is the same.

I really like the anti-Awp changes. I remember I stopped playing Train in GO because the sightings were just too long. Now that I'm better at Awping, I personally really like playing around Ivy and A site. I find it fun, but not unfair when going up against enemies in the same position.

Playing train is always a nightmare, those auto-sniper under train still haunted me even today. The cartophobic vibe, you got shot through small train cargo gap. Lot of stupid stuff. New version seem better in every way but I still hate it lol. Watching Pro on train is a different story though. It's like inferno. It bring those epic moment from time to time. But it's good to watch for sure.

You mention the revamp of Train in CSGO looking different at the time, and honestly, it feels more like something I could see fitting Left 4 Dead's artstyle (particularly the second game's) more than CSGO's "original" style, which seemed to go for a more realistic/gritty atmosphere. edit: I think you might have missed a detail that solidifies the CS canon being part of HL/Portal's storyline; If I recall correctly, there's a document in one of the hidden rooms that talks about V.Corp vs. Aperture.

It’s just an easter egg. Apart from Half-Life and Portal sharing the same universe with a strong connection, all other Valve games are unrelated to each other.

Awesome to see a new upload Penguin. However, I'm not sure if you've been contacted about this but in case you haven't we need all the help we can get. I'm sure you've heard of Classic Offensive before, right? Well Zool and his dev team have finally finished Classic Offensive. Zool put out a review build for Steam on October 6th and they were expecting it to be released by December 25th during the anniversary of Classic Offensive. The review process which should take somewhere between 3-5 business days has now been going on for 3 months and they have yet to hear back from Valve. We're not sure why whether it's because it's using the CS intellectual property or because it could be seen as a competitor to CS2 however considering the amount of Half-Life and Portal fan games on Steam this shouldn't technically be an issue. That's where we need your help. To raise awareness for this issue and to see if we could finally get a response back from Valve with enough noise.
