I think it's so stupid how they have the National Guard unarmed! To hell with a Geneva Convention, in my opinion! This is a very security sensitive situation with the Nato Summit. So, why not have them armed? If there were some type of attack, what would the National Guard be able to do besides the same thing the civilians would be able to do, which is run. I hate the way they regulate them. If they are activated, they should be armed, regardless of the situation. I don't care whether it's the Nato Summit, G20 Summit, Inauguration, riots, pandemic, check point duty in some of our bad neighborhoods throughout D.C., or a terrorist attack. They should always be armed. I'd feel much more protected with those guys being armed. It also makes us look soft with all of these foreign leaders here in the city to have our military unarmed. I know they're probably wondering why our military would he positioned on these routes with armed vehicles and no guns, lol!

Yea Northern Calvert (Dunkirk to Huntingtown) is the DRAGO loop as we call it. DRAGO is generally the callsign for aircraft doing a flyover and they seem to like this nice long loop down there as a holding area before they come into DC. We saw the planes were up, but they split before there was time to come into DC which was kind of a bummer
