Personally, i am able to decide if i wanna be sucked into the atmosphere building suspense and dread or not. Its nice to engage on it because its a horror game and the fun of it is to scare you. But if i choose not to, i can just run through the game with complete indiference knowing that every encounter is scripted and its just a screen. Psychological horror i cant do that tho hence it being my favorite type of horror
