One of the funniest thing in my opinion is that the same exact portal was open between Poland and Lithuania (Lublin and Vilnius to be exact). I don't know if it's still operating, but it stood there for at least 2 years (opened in 2021 and there are some records of it from 2023) and it didn't have to be closed for reasons like these.
