I just like getting high." There are tons of comedians who are engrossed in cannabis culture, and musicians and celebrities and lawyers and doctors and politicians and regular people, all who just like getting a little high. I’m Australian as well and I don’t understand how Jackson thinks weed is equal of a problem as alcohol, especially since he lives in Queensland, there’s towns infamous for being terrible and full of drunks and towns famous for being chill and full of weed in his state… Most Australians will try drinking before weed as well, drinking is the gateway drug for majority of people, what he’s saying could be applicable for other places although it feels unlikely but it’s 100% not the case for Australia, literally everyone I went to school with had gotten drunk some even becoming alcoholics by 14-15, before I moved it was impossible to have a social life because I don’t like pubs but every one of my friends wanted to drink and do drugs on the weekend and most of them didn’t smoke weed at all, Australia has a massive alcohol problem that’s not even remotely comparable to weed.
