People commonly miss this factor, but in the case of taking out the trash, someone who tries to appeal to you that the bar moved when they emptied the trash in O2 is immediately sus. Emptying the trash only increments the progress bar when performed from Storage, and it is always second after the one in O2. There is no exception to that sequence.

wires in electrical never make the bar go up, NEVER, because wires are a 3 part task and the 1st part of it is pretty commonly in electrical. For the task bar to go up, you need to finish all 3, otherwise it doesn't go up on the 1st or 2nd wires, so that impostor play with the wires really shouldn't have worked.
