The guy dropped a nuke in arasaka tower, his entire existence is to get at them. Even if he and V become good friends i still see it in his interest to take over V's body and fight arasaka if given the opportunity, especially if V tries to work with them.

This game honestly probably has one of the best soundtracks in modern AAA gaming. Not to sound cringe or anything, but not many games can encapsulate the feeling of being a borderline superhuman through the soundtrack alone. Like the music throughout the (don’t fear) the reaper ending. Makes you feel like the badass you are, mowing through dozens of arisaka grunts while invading the tower completely solo. Something not a single merc has ever achieved, and whole organized groups could barely do. Meanwhile, V just up and invades on a whim and tears them down from the ground up.

I think there are modern AAA games with better soundtracks but Cyberpunk is a decent one. Red Dead Redemption 2 comes to mind when I think about great soundtracks that fit the game. Elden Ring has a great soundtrack too. Watch Dogs 2 is a personal favourite of mine.

They did have to go most of this year with far fewer testers than they wanted due to the pandemic. They had internal testers but couldn't use external testers because those need to be done in a single place. But having people going to work like normal wasn't an option most of the year. I'm not trying to make excuses cuz they dropped the ball and need to do a lot to not just fix the game and make it a complete product that they marketed, let alone try and regain trust and goodwill. I just wanted to add context. In reality the game probably should have been delayed again. Well, I think they could have released the PC version (which I am playing and runs very well at max graphics, fortunately) and then work on getting the console versions working right. Or they probably should have cancelled the last gen versions honestly and just dedicated this to making it a true next gen title. They could have done more that got closer to the original idea they sold us on. I am pretty sure a major reason for the missing features is because they needed it to work on the dated hardware. However, the corpo rats up top saw the chunk of change they'd get from all those console players and the holiday spending that people do, so they decided to decieve not just gamers but actually powerful players in this industry. Sony for example. CDPR has a lot of work and changes to make if they truly care about regaining trust as much as they say they do.
