One of the things I appreciate about Charlie is that he can get along with people who don't always see eye to eye with him. I've lived 30 years, and I've been to all the supposedly haunted places, nothing. there was one abandoned house in a cemetery that my friends and I would use as a crash pad that turned me into a pure believer. full disembodied boot steps running up the stairs while my two friends and I sat upstairs. It's EXTREMELY rare to find actual ghost stuff. but there's a lot of people in the world, so a rare phenomenon seems more common in that light. but the fact of the matter is it's rare and you can't plan for it, you can stumble upon it, maybe.

So one of the first things that happened that led us to that conclusion was the fact that we'd leave beer bottles of pee, and just pee in general, in the house. So that's not good. The one night we brought a door knob home (it was a spur of the moment, silly teenager thing--we had not thought of 'haunted item/attachments' at all) and my girlfriends electronic odometer began scrambling. Someone pointed it out, and the whole car began to geek out--the odometer stopped on what looked like the word "PAY". It was numerical only. When I tell you my girlfriend did you a full U-turn in the middle of the street, demanding we take the doorknob and whatever else it was we had taken, back... Well, she had. We had barely gone down the hill from the cemetery when this occured, if I recall correctly. Now we believe it was too late at that point, likely because we had already created pee-portals all over the place, and we'd all have a lot of weird experiences, mostly conjecture; afterwards. I mean hard to prove stuff, nothing solid like at the house itself happened--and we have to account for the fact that we might have been looking for it after the odometer thing. The most convincing experience that followed that, IMO, were my own family's dreams back at my crib. None of them had been a part of these little adventures, so they shouldn't have known that it was now spooky time. We ended up having a kind of shared demonic (only in dreams) experience. I'm talking same night, the thing asked where the other family member was sleeping and the other family member had a nightmare of the same thing type ish, perhaps I'll explain it more comprehensively later

in my country many said that youll smell the ghost first. some smells like flower, some like a rotten flesh. people normally also wouldnt use electrical device and some would communicate with a spirit thru another human as vessel. youll feel temperature difference as such. if it could materialize then its as they say "powerful" than the other spirits there. and some say that natural stuffs like waterfalls, mountains, can house like some weird shit, people can hear traditional music for some reason. of course i know all this because im on a binge podcast session while at work, i myself never had an experience with one.

@@kuma8093 Having been young at one time and really dumb for some of that, I was with a group of people who all went to a certain well-known haunted place one night. They broke out a Ouija Board and we did the thing. One person seemed to be getting attacked as if a swarm of hornets covered him; he ran away screaming and flailing his arms as if that was happening to him, though the rest of us could not see any bugs around him. After that, we decided to leave so we could go find him and make sure he was okay. We said goodbye to the board, packed up and started to get out of the area. Almost everybody else was in front of me as we made our way out but there were two people walking behind me. I thought one of those two put their hand on my shoulder, so I stopped and turned around. Both people were easily fifteen feet back behind me, so there is NO WAY either of them could have touched me. It was weird; the touch felt like a friendly 'Hey, how ya doing?' and did not feel 'dangerous' at all. Just an acknowledgement of 'Yes, we are here. You found us. See ya later.' Nothing physical like that has happened to me ever since but I have heard voices when nobody was around and I have heard puffs of breath recently (as if somebody huffed in frustration). That's about it. But all this just to say, I am a firm believer after the night somebody put their hand on my shoulder. :)

They were walking across the floor in multiple rooms. One stopped at the foot of our bed (we had just laid down) and it leaned towards us like it was inspecting. We stayed still and it walked back into the other room after about 15 seconds. On a different day we saw the second (same?) one walking out in the hallway only. The light ones were very small, like a point of bright light that isn't blinding. They floated through the air and one through the closed window. They bobbed up and down through the air like something floating on waves, but in all directions, but generally moving in one direction. One went across a 35ft room, passing directly in front of us. It didn't react to us at all, and we stayed still and silent, just watching together. It took about 20 seconds to go across the room, very slowly moving towards the window, but kinda wobbling along the way. It floated through the closed window and into the back yard. After another 30 seconds of us looking at each other, I went to the back window and saw 4 of them floating together in the back yard. Each of these had other witnesses and we all remember the events the same. They occurred in the same house. I think there's something there, but what? It may be ghosts, a different type of spirit (nature, element, anything), extraterrestrial, or even higher dimensional. Heaven and hell could be parallel versions of Earth that we occasionally glimpse into. Reality could be an illusion that some people see through occasionally. Please share your thoughts. I don't think we'll fully understand this stuff within our lifetimes.

Went on a ghost hunt in college with a "professional". They had one of those weird radio things, and we were in an old building that was used in the civil war. I had the same as a kid. Never saw anything paranormal as an adult but we lived in a house where a farmer had died (I didn't know this, being 11ish) and I would wake up in the middle of the night when you'd least expect it and on my stairs landing, I'd see a towering man, a black figure. He never said anything or moved but he stood there for maybe 30 seconds each time. Happened till I moved out, I'd catch him standing ontop of the stairs. I had no mh issues, never hallucinated, was old enough to know imagination from reality, I still remember him vividly. Can't say I believe in anything like heaven hell or even 99% of ghost stories but hell if I saw something then I'm not the only one. It didn't really bother me to be honest, I thought about it as a kid and i said outloud that if he was nice he could stay. The same figure appeared to me maybe 8x for long durations. It seemed fatherly even though I had no dead male relatives I was close to. It wasn't really doing anything. Just observing. I'll never be able to explain it because I veer away from supernatural but I wasn't seeing things. It happened. Maybe it was the energy of him remaining somehow rather than an actual ghost. That's my thoughts
