Yes. She has been through a lot. In her verse she's an orphan, but Ben and May Parker taking care of here... Unfortunately in Gendo Ikari style, so she was turned into Spider-person too and given Mech. She also got schoolmate which were her verse Eddie Broke(her name was Abby? I don't remember sry). I don't remember were they friends, but they definitely were colleges cuz May and Ben used her too for Science. They gave her Mech with some symbiotic part, but unfortunately the Venom started to devour her and May tried to save her, but she also were vaporized. By the time Peni defeated and opened the suit it was empty. They both there gone. *this is the Canon event*

Not gonna lie, Miles saying: "Who was that?" Was basically like half the viewers when they saw Penny for the first time. I didnt even know who Penny was the first time i watched the movie. Then i finished it, loved her character, and waited to see her again on the big screen.
